The Walt Disney World Resort invites you to be our Guest and explore maintenance role opportunities at our upcoming Job Fair on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM. Come talk with our recruitment team and learn more about our FOS Maintenance Teams who provide excellent service and support to all of Walt Disney World! This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent for maintenance roles. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to apply and interview on site. Some candidates may even be hired on-the-spot!

  • Full Time Electricians
Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

Maintenance Responsibilities
The Walt Disney World® Resort is searching for talented Maintenance Technicians who are looking to push themselves to the next level in their career with our FOS Team. Our first-class shops put efficiency, productivity, and concern for the safety of our technicians’ front-and-center. As a seasoned technician, you know what it’s like to work in a shop or in the field, but using your skills at Disney is a completely unique experience.

Electrician

The Area Mechanic-Electrician is more than just a modern-day Ironman of electricity. They respond to power outages, work on rewiring equipment, run conduit for fixtures, respond to trouble tickets, inspect electrical components, and install or rewire lighting. The Area Mechanic- Electrician is expected to bend electrical conduit and install various types of electrical raceways. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.
  • Bend electrical conduit and install various types of electrical raceways
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems
  • Respond to trouble tickets at a resort, park or other areas of WDW Parks and Resorts
  • Cast members may be required to handle cleaning chemicals and supplies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the electrical field
  • Proven experience with 3-phase power distribution up to 480V
  • Knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor controls, motor repair, VFD, solid state systems, lighting, lighting controls, hydraulic and pneumatic control circuits
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to perform fault isolation and repair failed systems
  • Experience with conduit and electrical raceways
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devices
  • Some locations may require a CDL Class A or B within 6 months of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PLCs, relay logic and kitchen equipment
  • Journeyman license
  • Master Electrician license
  • Familiarity with National Electrical code
