  • Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and on time
  • Act as primary reviewer for outputs prepared by Assistant Managers and external providers

Controls & Compliance

  • Execute and monitor key controls within assigned processes
  • Ensure documentation supports audit requirements and internal policies
  • Identify and escalate risks, discrepancies, or process failures
  • Support audit queries and information requests

Vendor Coordination

  • Work closely with outsourced providers to manage day-to-day delivery
  • Track SLAs, follow up on delays, and resolve operational issues
  • Review vendor outputs and ensure quality standards are met

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and resolve issues
  • Provide updates on process status, risks, and performance metrics
  • Support cross-functional collaboration with finance and tax teams

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Support implementation of automation and standardisation initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date process documentation and SOPs

Team Support

  • Supervise and guide Assistant Managers
  • Provide technical and process-related support
  • Assist in training and onboarding activities

What will you bring

  • Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) Preferable, Bachelor’s/Master’s in Accounting
  • Experience: Minimum 8+ years post-qualification, including in-house multinational tax operational experience; prior Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in indirect tax compliance and governance, ideally within a multinational or shared services/outsourced environment.
  • Solid understanding of international indirect tax rules (VAT/GST) and operational tax requirements.
  • Experience with vendor/outsourced delivery models, performance management, and process improvement.
  • Exposure to US GAAP tax provisioning, transfer pricing operational oversight, and managing audit support activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities, with a commercial mindset and focus on cost optimisation.
