From preserving a cherished photograph to creating magical storytelling experiences for millions of Guests, our Disney Photo Imaging team is at the heart of lasting Guest memories. Now, we’re looking for a seasoned Product Management leader to guide us through the next era of innovation. This pivotal role will drive the strategic vision and execution of our Photo Imaging digital products and experiences, directly impacting our Guests' magical memories across all Disney destinations.

What You Will Do:
As Senior Product Management, you will own the end-to-end product delivery lifecycle for Disney PhotoPass AI/ML initiatives putting you at the forefront of innovation, creating magical experiences through cutting-edge technology. You'll have the unique opportunity to apply advanced machine learning and computer vision technologies to bring joy to millions of families worldwide. This role will drive the integration of advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and computer vision technologies into our products, transforming how our guests capture and experience their Disney vacation memories. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with expertise in creating and executing product vision at the intersection of machine learning and consumer experiences.
This role reports to Senior Manager, Product Management and works collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
AI/ML Product Strategy & Vision
- Ability to define and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy for AI/ML-driven products, aligning it with business objectives and market opportunities. This includes identifying AI/ML as a solution to a business problem, not just tech for tech's sake.
- Translates complex AI capabilities into clear business value. Owns the long-term roadmap and strategic impact.
- Navigates technical trade-offs with business priorities.
- Develop and manage the product outcome-based roadmap for AI/ML-powered photo imaging capabilities
- Identify opportunities where advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning will deliver on business requirements and solve operational challenges
- Partner with Data Scientists to conduct R&D initiatives determining feasibility of machine learning solutions for identified opportunities
- Define strategy for computer vision applications including image recognition, object detection, and video analysis
- Drive innovation in automated photo capture, intelligent editing, and personalized guest experience
Product Development & Delivery
- Lead requirement-gathering, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition for AI/ML features
- Attend and actively participate in scrum sessions with development studios to communicate product vision and capabilities
- Ensure new AI/ML capabilities are well integrated within the Photo Imaging platform across all product lines and destination brands
- Execute discovery work for new capabilities, documenting current state and desired future state
- Manage model development lifecycle from data annotation through deployment and monitoring
Data & Analytics Leadership
- Understand and analyze complex datasets, particularly image and video data, to derive insights and inform product decisions
- Define and monitor key performance metrics for AI/ML products including model accuracy, processing speed, and guest satisfaction
- Lead experimentation strategies including A/B testing for feature validation and optimization
- Work with data processing, quality assurance, and annotation teams for training computer vision models
- Ensure data governance and privacy compliance in all AI/ML implementations
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Serve as liaison between data scientists and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and KPIs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, commercial, and customer support
- Manage collaborative discussions to gain alignment and negotiate with business and product partners
- Serve as passionate advocate for AI/ML products, educating stakeholders about features, benefits, and value propositions
- Synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences
Market Intelligence & Innovation
- Conducts in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence (specifically for AI-driven products), and customer research to identify unmet needs and opportunities solvable by ML/AI, computer vision and photo technology.
- Monitor competitive landscape for emerging technologies and guest experience innovations
- Identify and evaluate third-party AI/ML solutions and potential partnership opportunities
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies for AI/ML initiatives
- Stay current with academic research and industry developments in computer vision and machine learning

- Technical Communication: Explains complex ML concepts to diverse audiences clearly
- Agile Execution: Thrives in fast-paced, iterative development environments
- Risk Management: Identifies and mitigates technical and business risks proactively
- Continuous Learning: Stays current with rapidly evolving AI/ML landscape
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of core computer vision concepts including image recognition, object detection, and video analysis techniques
- Proven knowledge of ML concepts including supervised/unsupervised learning, classification, regression, and model evaluation metrics
- Experience addressing ML challenges such as overfitting, data leakage, and model drift
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets, especially image and video data
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data, metrics, and experimentation for product decisions
- Proficiency with data visualization and collaboration tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience in product management, technology delivery, or strategy development
- Proven experience managing AI/ML or computer vision products from concept to launch
- Demonstrated success with the software delivery lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Experience leading initiatives spanning multiple teams and functional areas
- Track record of integrating diverse viewpoints toward unified solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Disney Parks operations or hospitality industry
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Background in photography, digital imaging, or photo-sharing platforms
- Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Google Cloud AI, Azure ML)
- Knowledge of privacy regulations and ethical AI principles
- Experience with real-time image processing and edge computing
- Understanding of augmented reality (AR) applications in photography
- Familiarity with Disney brand standards and guest experience principles
- Relevant certifications in AI/ML, product management, or cloud platforms valued
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $135,200.00 to $181,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
