Our Disney+ Partnerships team is responsible for new business development and successful management of external partnerships in alignment with Disney Direct to Consumer business objectives of subscriber growth and retention, revenue maximization and brand health.

The role will be part of the Partnerships and Business Development team overseeing select account relationships and day-to-day management and execution of Disney+ partnerships. This includes helping prepare for new business meetings and the delivery of partner contracts, terms, delivery of go to market plans including leading with cross line of business teams marketing campaigns, consumer journeys, management of timelines and deliverables, partner reporting and optimization.

A key aspect for the role is to maintain positive relationships between our partners and work collaboratively cross business to deliver best in class Disney+ partner programs and promote effective ways of working.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support where required on Business Development meetings, including preparation of partner materials, market inputs and internal discussion documents.

  • Support in negotiating commercial terms with existing local partners and secure new deals.

  • Support the liaison between partners and internal teams to effectively build partnership relationships, deliver on marketing objectives, develop plans and campaign executions.

  • Closely track, and deliver on key business goals including revenue growth, subscriber growth, activation, retention benefits, LTV improvement and viewing engagement.

  • Be the day-to-day lead for select partner accounts, including campaign execution, contract fulfilment, ongoing maintenance, reporting and communications, while identifying opportunities to improve partner performance and deliver against Disney+ business objectives.

  • Building and nurturing the external and internal relationships that underpin strategic, collaborative, long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships that enhance consumer value and brand perceptions.

  • Collaborating with colleagues across business functions and verticals to align plans and activities with broader Company strategy, financial plans, local laws and Company policies, and standards of innovation and creative excellence.

  • Work closely with partners to ensure strong performance from partner sales channels, including holding regular business review meetings with partners.

  • Support new business development by assessing potential partners, market dynamics, competitive landscape and broader consumer trends relevant to Disney+ partnerships.

  • Briefing internal stakeholders, including Partner Marketing, TAM, creative, finance, legal, comms and overseeing the delivery with internal stakeholders.

  • Lead the critical timelines across all major work streams by tracking and documenting partnership activities to ensure both timely delivery and future recommendations.

  • Optimisation of partnership performance, running QBR meetings, and gathering required inputs and identify opportunities to improve partner execution and business outcomes.

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders including Partner Marketing, TAM, Finance, Brand, Legal, Product, Creative teams and regional teams.

  • Apply any relevant learnings from the international teams for partner execution.

  • Ensure delivery teams are launch ready for all new partnerships.

  • Clear, accurate, timely reporting on partnership activities, business performance, key risks and next steps.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • At least 9 years of experience in business development, partnerships, account management, sales, or related commercial roles.

  • Strong partnership and account management expertise, with a proven ability to develop strategic relationships and manage stakeholders across all levels of an organization and with external partners.

  • Experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts, collaborating with Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders through execution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including persuasive verbal communication, professional writing, and the ability to present brand, partnership, and legal requirements effectively.

  • Expertise in digital products, marketing, and campaign execution, including channel strategy, customer journeys, and activation of marketing campaigns.

  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, leveraging data and business insights to drive performance and decision making.

  • Proven project management capabilities, delivering end-to-end initiatives while managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

  • Collaborative and proactive team player, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies, creative, media, technical, and commercial partners.

  • Fluent Korean and business level English.

  • Knowledge of the SVOD and streaming industry is preferred.

  • Passion for The Walt Disney Company brands and franchises.
