Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

Disney+ is looking for an ambitious and detail-driven UK & Ireland Merchandiser to join our Regional Programming team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering best-in-class editorial and operational execution across the Disney+ service for the UK & Ireland market — one of the world’s most dynamic and competitive streaming landscapes.

You will manage all homepage and customer-facing merchandising through CMS builds, localise regional plans with a distinctly British point of view, champion our UK originals and acquisitions alongside global and branded blockbusters, and bring bold editorial stunts and activations to life. Reporting into the Senior Merchandising Manager, EMEA, you will work closely with colleagues across EMEA, the US, and a wide range of cross-functional partners to ensure Disney+ continues to delight audiences across every touchpoint.

This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, working 4 days in the office each week, with the flexibility to work either Monday or Friday from home.

You’ll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration and caring deeply for our Community. These values guide how we show up for our audiences, our partners and each other every day.

What You Will Do

  • Own the day-to-day merchandising execution for the UK & Ireland Disney+ service, ensuring all customer-facing surface areas — including the homepage — are accurate, engaging and optimised

  • Adapt regional EMEA merchandising plans to reflect local market insight, audience behaviour and editorial opportunity across the UK and Ireland

  • Deliver end-to-end CMS builds, maintenance and experimentation, including pages, collections, sets, badges and calls-to-action, alongside full QA of service previews

  • Bring a uniquely British perspective to regional plans, championing UK originals, acquisitions and branded content

  • Partner closely with Marketing to support integrated campaigns, milestone meetings and launch plans

  • Collaborate with Social & PR teams to honour Coming Soon commitments and external announcements

  • Work with Customer Engagement and Analytics teams to make reactive, performance-led adjustments to merchandising strategy

  • Lead bespoke UK editorial stunts and activations in partnership with Creative teams

  • Act as the point of contact for Disney+ on UK partner platforms (including Sky, Virgin Media and others), supplying up-to-date content recommendations and maintaining strong relationships

  • Participate in programming weeklies, stand-ups, regional reviews, presentations and content briefings in support of the wider Programming team

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working within a UK broadcast, streaming or SVOD environment

  • Hands-on experience using a Content Management System (CMS) in a customer-facing environment

  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of the Disney brand portfolio, including General Entertainment brands such as FX and Hulu

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a customer-first mindset

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously

  • Deep understanding of the UK streaming and media landscape, including key competitors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting sports programming or sport-led editorial propositions

  • Familiarity with Airtable, Google Sheets / Excel, PowerPoint or Google Slides, and Microsoft Teams

  • Experience preparing and delivering presentations, dashboards or performance updates

  • Experience working with external content partners and platform integrations

The Perks

  • 25 days annual leave

  • Private medical insurance and dental care

  • Free Park Entry: enjoy complimentary access to our parks with family and friends

  • Disney Discounts across selected products, resorts, food & beverage and ticketing

  • Excellent parental and guardian leave

  • Employee Resource Groups including WOMEN @ Disney, Disney Mosaic, Disney PRIDE, ENABLED (our disability and neurodiversity group) and TRUST (Mental Health & Wellbeing)
