Job Summary:


About the Role & Team 

This role will be working with Deal Management Senior Manger and Manager to provide pre and post Sales support for the team across all linear, SVOD and transactional media, working to provide accurate availability and deal information to front line sales and clients (where applicable). Interpretation of deal terms, accurately recording deal information, working closely with team members and other departments to trigger all post-sales activities.

This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do 

§ Deal & Client Data Administrator

§ Regional expert and point of contact for active and historical deals on assigned cluster of territories & clients  

§ Territories/Windows Expert

§ Provision of information about programming & product to relevant parties

§ Accurate and timely recording of all components of deal information (and amendments) in the systems

§ Ownership of building availability lists for Sales

Pre-Sales Coordination

Provides pre-sales support to optimize deals. Involves:

  • Working from complex system data to create product availability lists for Sales team, other internal members & external parties. Building from the information on programmes to suggest title and thematic recommendations to help encourage incremental sales.
  • Liaising with Burbank on additional title approvals and rights queries and tracking through Airtable.

  • Inputting deals as required into Rightsline, based on information supplied by Sales and/or Legal. Working with Sales team members to gather information about deals, interpreting the information recording details of the deal in the system, accurately updating client, product availability & other relevant data
  • Aligns with legal team on corresponding contracts or amendments ensuring that payment terms, exhibits and all other details match system entry.
  • Liaising with tech servicing in relation to availability of dub/sub tracks where applicable and supporting on subsequent asset retrieval.
  • Uses pivot tables to analyse historical sales data from Microstrategy and Righstline to provide guidance to sales on new deals and pricing logic
  • Maintains strong knowledge of latest Content Sales guidelines and demonstrates their compliance with deal approval in KIWI

Post-Sales Coordination

  • Undertakes required post-sales activities to most effectively manage the deal. Involves:
  • Recording any amendments to the deal in the system, enabling accurate, up to date data to be shared through interrogation of the system by other business users. Includes amendments due to episodic changes, confirmation of TBA dates & any other changes in information which necessitate changes in deals/contractual documentation
  • Aligns with legal team on corresponding amendments and legal notification letters ensuring that payment terms, exhibits and all other details match all amended system entries.  
  • Identifying outstanding client selections, life of series commitments and TBA availability dates, and working with Sales and Deal Management Manager to ensure all client licensing obligations are met
  • Timely notification of amendments/avails to clients for all deal types (in standard formats where required)
  • Upkeep of all data required for transactional deals (i.e. rate card, pricing levels, age ratings (where applicable), client specific data) in TAP system as required
  • Timely update of client systems (Falcon) in relation to transactional title availability as required   
  • Closely monitors the payment status of client invoices and actively participates on Accounts Receivable calls to resolve billing concerns  

Other General Activities

  • Contributes to forecasting and AOP by using regional expertise to help inform on upcoming commercial opportunities
  • Works effectively with departmental colleagues and cross-functionally with members of the Territory Cluster
  • Work with Sales colleagues and support customer relationship as required in territory
  • Works closely with Country Manager supporting on adhoc requests including local territory information  
  • Contributes to summaries of team achievements with presentation to internal stakeholders and senior management
  • Adheres to defined business processes, taking opportunities to improve such processes where available
  • Drives to continually develop knowledge of the product slate, media types & the territory environment (including customers & market dynamics)
  • Participates in and provides support in client meetings (virtual & in person) and build relationship with client counterparts
  • Occasional travel and market attendance. Attendance at Deal Management Summits with EMEA colleagues.
  • Attends product update calls to become an expert on all content and able to promote it to internal and external stakeholders when required

Required Qualifications & Skills  

  • Experience of working in an international environment, preferably in linear TV, SVOD and/or transactional content distribution
  • TV, SVOD and/or transactional rights knowledge preferred
  • Knowledge of Deal Structures
  • Ability to quickly pick up detailed Product knowledge
  • An understanding of Availability Lists would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in maintaining ongoing reports
  • Strong IT skills/database experience, particularly in Excel and Artificial Intelligence in order to create Deal Profile Summary Production
  • Excellent level of Word and Excel, PowerPoint useful
  • Proactive and flexible approach with ability to react quickly
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt priorities as business objectives evolve
  • Ability to anticipate requirements and act accordingly
  • Calm and organized
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Russian language skills advantageous
