About the Role

The Senior Executive Assistant provides high-level, proactive administrative support to the Chief Technology Officer of Disney Experiences. This role serves as a trusted partner in managing complex logistics, information flow, and day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate brings exceptional organizational skills, sound judgment, and a calm, solutions-oriented approach. In addition to supporting the EVP, this role plays an important coordination and support role within the executive assistant community, helping foster consistency, collaboration, and best practices through partnership and influence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, high-level administrative support to the EVP, serving as a trusted partner in managing priorities, scheduling, and workflow.
  • Oversee a dynamic and complex calendar spanning global time zones and multiple internal and external stakeholders, adjusting seamlessly to last-minute changes and urgent requests.
  • Anticipate upcoming needs, deadlines, and executive priorities to ensure the EVP’s time is focused on the most impactful work.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, and reports to support meetings, leadership engagements, and special projects.
  • Manage complex domestic and international travel logistics, including itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and contingency planning.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, leadership off-sites, and team events with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal partners, senior leaders, and external contacts to support efficient communication and execution.
  • Support smooth daily operations across office logistics, technology coordination, purchasing, and expense management, handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and shared service teams to facilitate purchasing, expense reporting, and operational needs using enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Concur).
  • Act as a reliable problem-solver in a fast-moving environment with frequently shifting priorities.
  • Serve as a key coordination and support resource for other executive assistants, promoting collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and consistent ways of working.
  • Provide informal guidance, mentoring, and onboarding support to executive assistants, helping strengthen overall effectiveness and professionalism.
  • Partner with fellow EAs to coordinate coverage and continuity of support during absences or peak periods.
  • Contribute to process improvements, tools, and best practices that enhance the executive support function.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience providing high-level administrative support to senior leaders (VP+), ideally within a complex, fast-paced organization.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Proven discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and work effectively across levels and functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, SAP, Concur, and related enterprise tools.
  • Calm, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with flexibility to support evolving priorities and occasional after-hours needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting EVP or C-suite leaders, particularly within technology, media, or highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experience mentoring or informally supporting other executive assistants.
  • Familiarity with the theme park, resort, travel, or broader Disney Experiences environment.
  • Experience working across global time zones and cultures.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
