Job Summary:

Disney Experiences Technology (DXT) creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands. We deliver experiences to consumers through Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Lines, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digitally led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business, as well as other initiatives such as Hey, Disney!

As Senior Business & Information Analyst, you will deliver data-driven insights to empower decision-making across the organization, contribute to process efficiencies, and support core planning processes (annual operating plan, capital plan, long-term plan, and resource management). No two days here are ever the same! Our team pivots constantly to adapt to competing and ever-changing priorities.

The Senior Business & Information Analyst will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand program needs, support strategic direction, and contribute to the funding pipeline. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical thinker with strong communication skills, capable of engaging and persuading peers and leaders to adopt new insights, strategies, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.

This position will report to Manager, Business & Information Analysis.

What You’ll Do

  • Planning & Holistic Portfolio Support: Enable strategic planning outcomes by translating business objectives, financial inputs, and portfolio data into actionable insights. Partner with Finance and department leaders to assess tradeoffs, manage risk, and support the development of a clear narrative on plan assumptions, scenarios, and comparative analytics.

  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Apply analytical techniques and visualization tools to support hypothesis-driven analysis, scenario evaluation, and clear storytelling for leaders.

  • AI Enablement & Applied Use Cases: Identify, apply, and scale AI and automation use cases that improve day-to-day analytical work, planning processes, and operational efficiency (e.g., analysis acceleration, insight generation, process automation). Partner with stakeholders to responsibly embed AI into existing workflows.

  • AI Trends & Industry Awareness: Track and synthesize emerging AI capabilities, tools, and industry trends relevant to analytics, planning, and technology portfolio management. Translate external trends into practical implications and opportunities for DX Tech.

  • Integrated Technology Plan (ITP) Support: Contribute to the Integrated Technology Plan (ITP) by supporting data consolidation, analysis, and reporting that helps identify, prioritize, and track initiatives addressing underlying technology debt across the DXT portfolio.

  • Data Governance: Assist in implementing data management practices and governance policies. Support data quality initiatives and help resolve data-related issues.

  • Process Optimization: Analyze current processes, gather requirements, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and program effectiveness. Define compelling arguments and business cases to support proposed initiatives.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized documentation of metrics, program progress, and analytical findings to support transparency and informed decision-making.

  • Program Support & Strategy Alignment: Contribute to program planning, execution tracking, and data consolidation efforts that align with organizational goals. Support storytelling and presentation of findings and opportunities to leadership.

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal and external teams as well as business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver insights, and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Change Enablement: Support and promote a culture of continuous improvement by contributing ideas and participating in change initiatives including serving as a thought partner.

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • 5+ years of experience in a business, program, or data analyst role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience supporting planning, portfolio management, and process improvement

  • Experience applying AI tools to automate workflows, analyze large datasets, and improve business processes

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and adapt in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience improving broad sweeping processes with multiple key stakeholders and varying criteria

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau and the core concepts of relational data

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies including tools such as JIRA and Confluence

  • Ability to create compelling presentations and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively

  • Prior professional experience in disciplines such as: Commercial Strategy, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Portfolio Management, Decision Science, Consumer Insights, Finance

  • Experience in the Technology industry or domain, working with financial partners

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, Finance, Data Science or a related field

Preferred Education

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Technology, related field or equivalent work experience
