Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

Join The Walt Disney Company and help shape how millions of fans connect with Disney stories, brands and experiences across social media.

As Supervisor, Social Media & Influencers, UK & EMEA, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our EMEA Social Media and Influencer strategy. Working as part of the Cross-Company Social Media Team, you will help create engaging, social-first content, build meaningful audience connections, and support influencer activity across Disney brands and lines of business.

We are hiring for two positions within the team. One role will focus on supporting Disney Animation and Pixar, while the second will support Marvel and Lucasfilm. Both positions sit within the same team and share core responsibilities, but each role will partner closely with its respective franchise teams to deliver social media and influencer campaigns tailored to their audiences, content and business priorities.

This role partners closely with teams across the business, external agencies and market stakeholders to bring campaigns and content to life across UK and EMEA social channels. You'll combine creativity, organisation and platform expertise to ensure our social activity is audience-led, insight-driven and aligned with brand standards and business priorities.

If selected for this role, you will report to the Manager, Social Media & Influencers, UK & EMEA.

This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

You'll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration, and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work, the stories we tell and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do

  • Act as a dedicated social media and influencer partner for either the Disney Animation & Pixar portfolio or the Marvel & Lucasfilm portfolio, helping to develop and execute franchise-specific campaigns, content and audience engagement strategies across UK and EMEA markets.

  • Support the planning, execution and optimisation of social media and influencer activity across Disney UK and EMEA brand channels.

  • Help deliver best-in-class, social-first content that strengthens brand affinity and drives audience engagement.

  • Support the rollout of social media and influencer playbooks, guidelines and best practice across EMEA markets.

  • Manage mid-sized influencer campaigns, including talent identification, outreach, briefing, contracting, campaign delivery and reporting.

  • Assist with major influencer projects and support the implementation of The Walt Disney Company Influencer Guidelines.

  • Coordinate the creation and sourcing of social content by briefing agencies, designers, content creators and external partners from concept through to completion.

  • Support integrated campaigns and digital events through content planning, copywriting, creative briefing, approvals, asset distribution, publishing, scheduling and reporting.

  • Monitor channel, content and campaign performance, using insights to identify trends, share learnings and inform future plans.

  • Help support tactical paid social activity, including amplification recommendations, optimisation and performance reporting.

  • Work with markets and platform partners to support new channel launches, platform innovation, account verification and troubleshooting.

  • Maintain strong governance and security standards across social media accounts, including user access reviews and platform best practices.

  • Champion audience-first thinking by sharing platform trends, emerging formats and industry developments with the wider team.

  • Support local and regional initiatives through competition management, evergreen asset distribution and inclusive content representation.

  • Manage the day-to-day workload and priorities of the Social Media Intern.

  • Present project updates, recommendations and new opportunities to stakeholders where appropriate.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working within a social media, digital marketing or integrated marketing environment, either agency-side or client-side.

  • Experience managing social media platforms in a professional capacity.

  • Experience working with influencers, content creators or talent-led campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of major social platforms, audience behaviours, emerging trends and platform innovations.

  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

  • Experience monitoring campaign performance against agreed KPIs and benchmarks.

  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and stakeholders.

  • Collaborative approach and ability to build strong working relationships across teams, markets and functions.

  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities to enhance performance and engagement.

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote and Word.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving digital and cultural landscape.

  • Motivated self-starter who enjoys taking ownership and driving projects forward.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience capturing or creating social-first content for a consumer-facing brand.

  • Experience working across multiple international markets or regional teams.

  • Knowledge of social media management, reporting and governance tools such as Emplifi and 1Password.

  • Experience supporting paid social media campaigns and amplification activity.

  • Understanding of social media governance, account security and compliance requirements.
