Corporate Strategy sits at the center of Disney’s most important decisions — partnering with senior leadership, segments, and the Board to define strategic priorities, evaluate growth opportunities, and inform capital allocation decisions across the enterprise while positioning Disney for long-term success.

What You Will Do:

Drive High-Impact Strategic Initiatives

  • Help build alignment across the organization to ensure strategies are translated into clear execution plans
  • Contribute to a clear, independent point of view to senior leadership on strategic decisions

Shape Enterprise Strategy & Capital Allocation

  • Facilitate strategic planning efforts that establish the enterprise outlook and inform capital allocation decisions
  • Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, and business leaders to help shape targets, financial scenarios, and long-term priorities
  • Develop perspectives on growth opportunities, risks, and trade-offs impacting the company

Support Portfolio & Growth Strategy

  • Evaluate Disney’s portfolio through strategic and financial lenses, identifying opportunities to enhance value and mitigate risk
  • Identify incremental and transformational growth opportunities across businesses and adjacent sectors
  • Assess long-term business performance to inform decisions that improve returns and enterprise value

Evaluate Inorganic Opportunities

  • Evaluate M&A, partnerships, and new business opportunities across current businesses, adjacencies, and new growth areas
  • Partner with Corporate Development and external advisors to support decision-making and execution

Deliver Market & Competitive Insight

  • Drive competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform enterprise strategy
  • Develop a clear view of the evolving landscape and Disney’s ability to shape and win in the market
  • Identify emerging trends (e.g., technology, consumer behavior) and translate into strategic implications

Partner Across the Enterprise

  • Collaborate closely with segments, Investor Relations, FP&A, and Corporate Development to drive alignment
  • Serve as a trusted partner to corporate and segment teams
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to enable effective decision-making and execution

Develop Talent

  • Contribute to the development of a high-performing strategy team with clear ownership and accountability
  • Foster a culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, and continuous development
  • Provide mentorship and growth opportunities to team’s senior analysts

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, investment banking, or private equity
  • Proven experience managing workstreams within enterprise-level strategic initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong financial acumen, including modeling and valuation
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including supporting executive-level storytelling and presentation development

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience in media, entertainment, or technology industries
  • MBA degree
  • Background in corporate strategy, business development, or investment roles
  • Ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights and decisions
  • Exceptional financial modeling and presentation development skills
  • Strong business judgment in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work across diverse stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Collaborative, low-ego mindset and ability to thrive in a high-performance, team-oriented environment
