About Disney Cruise Line

Since launching in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has established itself as a leader in the cruise industry, providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge and children can experience all Disney has to offer. Today, the award-winning Disney Cruise Line continues to expand its blueprint for family cruising with a fleet of eight ships — the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny — and five more ships on the way. The Disney Adventure is the first Disney Cruise Line ship to homeport in Asia.

About the Role

As Disney Cruise Line continues to grow its presence in Asia with Disney Adventure, its first ship to homeport in Singapore, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Strategy Manager to join our regional Marketing team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this role will lead marketing strategy and planning across key Asian markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China.

The role encompasses regional marketing strategy, brand management, integrated campaign coordination and close collaboration with Commercial, Revenue Management, Operations and other marketing functions to drive business growth.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, a deep understanding of the tourism industry and the ability to translate business priorities into effective marketing actions. The successful candidate must be highly independent, detail-oriented and confident in managing complex initiatives across markets and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate

  • A well-rounded marketing professional who combines strategic thinking, strong commercial judgement and hands-on execution. Someone who understands the importance of brand while recognising the role marketing plays in driving business performance.
  • You are comfortable working across multiple markets and disciplines, possess an exceptional eye for detail and can confidently engage senior stakeholders.
  • As this is a maternity cover position, the ability to quickly integrate into the business, take ownership of key priorities and operate independently will be essential.

Responsibilities:

Regional Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and go-to-market plans across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China.
  • Translate business objectives, consumer insights, market dynamics and booking trends into actionable marketing plans that drive demand and conversion.
  • Identify growth opportunities through an understanding of market seasonality, consumer travel behaviour, competitive landscape and commercial performance.
  • Drive annual, quarterly and tactical marketing planning, ensuring alignment with regional and global business priorities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to address business challenges and optimise marketing effectiveness.

Brand Management & Regional Campaigns

  • Support brand stewardship across key Asian markets, ensuring consistency with Disney Cruise Line's global brand positioning and guidelines.
  • Serve as a key coordinator for regional marketing campaigns, aligning marketing functions, local market teams, agencies and global stakeholders.
  • Lead the development of integrated campaign briefs, ensuring clear objectives, audience definition, strategic direction and measurable outcomes.
  • Work closely with Media & Digital, Creative, CRM and Communications teams to ensure marketing initiatives are strategically aligned, effectively integrated and consistently executed across key consumer touchpoints.
  • Provide strategic input on creative development and market localisation, ensuring cultural relevance, brand integrity and communication effectiveness.

Commercial, Revenue & Operations Integration

  • Partner closely with Revenue Management, Commercial, Sales and Operations teams to align marketing initiatives with business and revenue objectives.
  • Monitor booking performance, demand forecasts, pricing and promotional priorities to identify opportunities for marketing intervention.
  • Support the development and execution of tactical promotions, seasonal initiatives and other revenue-driving programmes.
  • Work with Operations and relevant business teams to align marketing communications with onboard offerings, product developments and guest experiences.
  • Ensure an integrated approach between marketing planning, commercial priorities and operational readiness.

Marketing Communications, Digital & MarTech

  • Provide strategic input on website content, consumer messaging, campaign landing pages and digital conversion opportunities.
  • Partner with CRM teams on customer engagement and communications strategies spanning acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Support key marketing technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business requirements and regional marketing priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the consumer journey and improve marketing effectiveness across digital and communication channels.

Management Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Develop strategic presentations, business reviews, corporate decks and management updates for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Consolidate cross-functional business inputs into clear, compelling narratives with actionable recommendations.
  • Support the Director of Marketing in business planning, management discussions and special projects.
  • Manage complex regional initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment, timely delivery and effective coordination across teams.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail across all deliverables.

Requirements:

  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in marketing strategy, brand management, integrated marketing or regional marketing.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of the tourism, travel or hospitality industry, including commercial drivers, consumer behaviour and market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing marketing strategies and managing integrated campaigns across multiple markets.
  • Good understanding of brand management, marketing communications, digital marketing, CRM and the broader consumer journey.
  • Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret business data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with experience managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional presentation and business storytelling skills, with proven experience developing high-quality corporate and senior management presentations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong eye for brand consistency, communication quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin, given the requirement to engage stakeholders and partners across Greater China.
  • Highly independent, proactive and resourceful, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experiences:

  • Prior experience in cruise, tourism, hospitality, travel or destination marketing.
  • Regional marketing experience covering Southeast Asia and Greater China, particularly mainland China.
  • Experience working within a multinational organisation with regional and global stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with consumer research, marketing analytics and business performance reporting.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline.
