Job Summary:

The Enterprise Research & Analytics - Consumer Products Digital Analytics team is the analytical engine behind Disney Consumer Products Branded Retail.  Through our world class ecommerce experiences, we bring the magic of Disney directly into our customers' homes, connecting fans with the products and stories they love. 


The Consumer Products Digital Analytics team turns data into action, capturing, analyzing, and optimizing every touchpoint of the ecommerce experience to deepen customer engagement and drive business growth. We pioneer new analytics capabilities and emerging technologies to continuously elevate how customers discover and purchase Disney products online.


The Senior Manager, Digital Analytics, will bring an innovative, problem-solving mindset and a passion for developing and growing a team.  They inspire others, champion new technologies, and embrace continuous learning in the fast-evolving world of digital analytics and ecommerce. As a technical leader, they provide hands-on expertise and support that strengthens the team's analytical capabilities.


The role reports to the Director, Consumer Products Research & Insights and has multiple direct reports and will be based in Celebration, FL.

 

What you will do:

  • Lead and grow a cross-disciplinary team of Digital and Omni-Channel analysts across the full customer eCommerce journey, providing hands-on coaching, code review, and ongoing training to build technical and analytical capabilities.
  • Rapidly turn web and mobile data into compelling data stories, presenting clear actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Oversee measurement of A/B and Bayesian testing applications and serve as a trusted advisor across the organization's testing efforts.
  • Deliver in-depth analysis and reporting for business, product, and other teams — both ad-hoc requests and regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) performance reporting.
  • Validate tracking accuracy across web and mobile app using browser dev tools, tag debuggers, and data-layer inspection, partnering with implementation specialists to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate on data collection strategies by utilizing Tealium to map web events, data layer attributes, and variables seamlessly into Adobe Analytics, ensuring robust data quality and accurate tracking across e-commerce experiences.
  • Partner with data management, technology, and business groups to ensure the data needed for analysis is available.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert on Adobe Analytics metrics and components, ensuring consistent definitions and supporting all consumers of the metrics.
  • Advance the team by adopting new tools and emerging technologies and implementing automation and data strategies that improve efficiency and process value.

You Will Have / Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of analytical experience
  • 4+ years of digital analytics tool experience (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics)  
  • Demonstrated leadership across direct and indirect reporting relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to derive actionable insights and translate findings into recommendations
  • Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, product, and technology partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting insights to senior leaders and executives (Directors, VPs)
  • Strong expertise defining digital analytics tracking requirements and coordinating technical delivery with engineering teams
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and strategic direction for the team's data asset needs and analytics roadmap
  • Ability to lead analytical work from ideation to completion and function effectively in an environment of ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • eCommerce experience, preferably in the Direct to Consumer field
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills
  • Ability to quickly synthesize complex business contexts and establish credibility with partners
  • Experience leveraging advanced SQL to analyze large, multi-source datasets
  • Experience overseeing the measurement of an A/B testing program, including defining success metrics and validating statistical methodology
  • Experience with business intelligence tools 
  • Understanding of the growing role of AI in the analytics space and experience with adopting new capabilities
  • Digital analytics tracking experience with both website and mobile app implementations

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience


Preferred Education:

Master’s degree in related area

The hiring range for this position in Celebration, FL is $148,300.00 to $198,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
