Manager, Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Business Transformation
Job Summary:
Manager, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Business Transformation
The Manager, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Business Transformation, is a pivotal role dedicated to driving business transformation within the Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Optimization Organization. This position blends strategic planning, operational governance, executive enablement, and strategic communications leadership to ensure priorities are clear, initiatives are sequenced appropriately, and leaders are equipped with timely, relevant, and decision‑ready information. The role is essential in enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing sourcing processes, upskilling and developing the Organization.
A core responsibility of this role is to design and steward the organization’s strategic communication approach—defining what communications the organization and leadership receive, the cadence at which information is delivered, and the narratives that anchor understanding and alignment. The Manager curates, synthesizes, and contextualizes inputs from across the organization, reducing noise while increasing clarity, coherence, and executive effectiveness. Acting as a connective tissue across teams and functions, this role supports leaders by translating strategy into action, shaping narratives, and enabling informed decision‑making.
The Manager, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Business Transformation will blend storytelling and data analytics to assist with organization presentations and communications to support the Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Optimization Leadership Team. The role will identify opportunities to strengthen leadership effectiveness, team engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration, partnering with HR and functional leaders as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Communications & Executive Information Flow: Design and own the strategic communications framework for the Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Optimization organization, ensuring leaders receive the right information, at the right time, in the right format. Partner closely with senior leaders to shape communication strategy, determining what updates, insights, and narratives are required to support decision‑making, alignment, and accountability with clear communication cadences.
- Leadership Enablement: Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, supporting strategic planning prioritization, and execution across the organization. Translate leadership vision into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across teams and functions.
- Change Management: Champion change initiatives across the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new systems and processes. Develop and implement change management strategies to support business transformation efforts.
- Branding and Executive Presentations: Serve as a thought partner to leadership, creating compelling, brand-compliant presentations and templates that blend storytelling with data visualization. Support leadership communications with impactful and visually engaging materials, including newsletters and publications.
- Team Culture and Development Initiatives: Design, plan, and lead executive and enterprise‑wide offsites, including agenda development, content curation, facilitation support, and follow‑through to ensure outcomes translate into action. Lead the development and evolution of organizational development tools, including core competencies, capability frameworks, and role expectations, ensuring alignment to business strategy and future‑state needs.
- Organizational Upskilling: Lead and enable organizational upskilling efforts by identifying critical capability gaps aligned to strategic priorities, partnering with leaders and HR to shape development approaches, and ensuring the organization builds the skills needed to execute today's work and future state objective.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Uphold the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality in all communications and initiatives.
- Special Projects: Work closely with the Sr. Manager on special projects.
Qualification and Skills:
- Education: Merchandising/Product Development/Design, Retail Management, General/International Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 10+ years in Strategic Merchandise Sourcing, Business Operations/Intelligence/Strategy, Merchandising or Project Management.
- Project Management: Exceptional project management and organizational skills with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, project management, and operational efficiency.
- Communication: Excellent presentation skills, with a talent for visual storytelling. High-impact communication skills with the ability to tailor style to diverse stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage taskforces effectively. Highly collaborative, with ability to work across disciplines, sell in strategies, and drive to win-win solutions.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a solutions-oriented approach. Ability to simplify complex problems and tailor messages to different levels of staff in the Organization.
- Innovation: Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, adept in working in ambiguity and new start-up teams. Exhibits interest, intellectual curiosity and proactively reviews industry trends for application to the Organization.
- Discretion and Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
