Department Overview:
We are seeking a Program Manager to lead the delivery and evolution of Disney’s enterprise consumer data initiatives. In this role, you will lead efforts spanning data onboarding, new data products & feature development, and prioritizing data sharing and activation initiatives across business segments. This collaborative role bridges feature development, analytics, data governance, and activation, ensuring we continuously deliver reliable, high-quality data and innovative solutions that support analytics, activation, and enterprise growth.

Job Summary:
As the Program Manager, you will shape and drive complex, cross-functional programs that support our enterprise customer data strategy. You’ll translate business goals and requirements into clear plans, remove blockers, and align teams for success. Acting as a connector between business, governance, product, and technology stakeholders, you’ll ensure every initiative meets Disney’s standards for operational excellence, compliance, and data quality. Your work will directly accelerate the value Disney delivers to guests and partners, while honoring guest privacy and trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of complex enterprise consumer data management workstreams, including data onboarding, data sharing, feature development, metadata solutions, privacy compliance, and data analytics / activation.

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to drive the design, buildout, and deployment of scalable data pipelines, integrations, and new data assets.

  • Develop project/program strategies, roadmaps, and goals aligned to enterprise business priorities, tracking progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams.

  • Coordinate and enhance data sharing initiatives that span business units, ensuring compliance with privacy, security, and legal requirements.

  • Establish and evolve Agile/Hybrid delivery practices, driving accountability and cross-team alignment from project inception through release.

  • Monitor project budgets and success metrics for program milestones.

  • Lead retrospectives, process improvements, and lessons-learned forums to continually improve velocity and quality.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for program delivery, communicating status, milestones, and risks to leaders and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of program or project management in a consumer data or marketing operations/technology organization

  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional data programs and managing complex data pipelines and deliverables.

  • Strong understanding of software/data product delivery lifecycles and modern data architectures.

  • Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and/or hybrid delivery methodologies and related tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Airtable).

  • High-level communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in media, entertainment, or related industry; background in cross-segment data programs a plus.

  • Familiarity with data cataloging and activation tools (e.g., Alation, Snowflake, Hightouch, Tableau).

  • Experience working with privacy, legal, and infosec stakeholders on policy-driven technical programs.

  • Familiarity with scaled delivery/program management frameworks (SAFe, Kanban, hybrid, etc.).

  • PMP, CSM, or comparable certifications preferred.


The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $131,500 - $170,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
