Graduate Legal Internship
Job Summary:
Embark on a magical 12-month Graduate Internship with The Walt Disney Company!
These internships offer the opportunity to work with industry‑leading legal experts, gaining practical experience within a globally recognised organisation while building a strong foundation for a future legal career.
We have multiple internships available across different lines of business and offices. By applying for this opportunity, you will be considered for one of the below areas. If you have a particular preference, please note this in your cover letter.
Each internship will specify which London office it is based in, 4 days a week, with either Monday or Friday working from home.

Disney+
Based in: London, Hammersmith
You’ll have the opportunity to work within the Disney+ Legal & Technology Team, leading on all Disney+ product matters, regulatory & consumer law, AI & technology matters, compliance and Disney+ content licensing across EMEA. This placement will also work on general commercial agreements assisting the Strategic Sourcing, Facilities and HR teams with vendor and other services agreements.
This internship would suit those with a keen interest in systems and process improvement in relation to legal information management.
Searchlight Pictures Studio Production
Based in: London, Covent Garden
You will be an essential part of the UK based legal team producing Searchlight’s theatrical pictures, the role provides legal support at all stages of film production, from early development through to the hands-on production and publicity surrounding release. Given the close working relationship with teams in the Burbank, California office, please be aware that this role can occasionally require calls outside standard working hours.
This internship would suit those with an interest in film production and media law, who are comfortable collaborating with international teams.
Disney Consumer Products
Based in: London, Hammersmith
Brings the Disney Experience of our beloved brands and franchises to life through innovative retail experiences, licensing, publishing and product development. You will support the legal group who has a critical role in enabling these experiences, advising on commercial agreements, intellectual property, brand protection and regulatory matters, while working closely with internal stakeholders to support business growth globally.
This internship would suit those with an interest in commercial and intellectual property law and working in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Studio and Direct-to-Consumer
Based in: London, Hammersmith
This team focus on bringing world class storytelling to audiences through theatrical releases and global streaming platforms. Spanning film production, content distribution and digital streaming. The legal team will support this team across the end-to-end content lifecycle gaining hands-on exposure to in-house media law.
This internship would suit those with an interest in media and entertainment law.
Disney Destination
Based in: London, Hammersmith Grove
This team supports the sales and marketing businesses for Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line and National Geographic Expeditions across the Europe, Middle East and African (EMEA) region. The legal team will provide valuable insight in supporting complex international travel offerings, protecting guests and ensuring the business operates responsibly and commercially.
The internship would suit those with an interest in commercial, consumer, new technologies, competition law as well as travel regulations.
During these Internships, you’ll get the opportunity to:
Develop core legal skills through drafting, reviewing and managing legal documents
Conduct legal research and support compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Gain exposure to contract management and legal operations
Work collaboratively with legal teams and business stakeholders across the organisation
Build practical, in‑house legal experience within a globally recognised company
Eligibility
Must be a law graduate or have completed the GDL
Must have the right to work in the UK already in place for the full duration of the internship
Must be available to start in August or September 2026.
Must demonstrate a real passion for a career in the legal profession; this opportunity will suit someone who has recently graduated and is looking to gain professional experience ahead of completing the SQE in the UK
Requirements
A strong interest in a future career in the legal profession
Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
Strong MS Office skills
Available to start in August or September 2026

Annual salary of £30,000 with 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays) which will be pro rata

The Selection Process & Key Dates
Application deadline: Midnight on Tuesday 26th May 2026 however, if we receive a high volume of applications we may close the role before this date, therefore we strongly advise you to apply early.
Online skills-based assessment: Once we have reviewed your application, you will be invited to complete a skills-based online assessment stage to understand more about you and what you can bring to the role. You will be given a week to complete this.
Motivational Interview (20–30 mins via Teams): Taking place between early and mid- June.
Assessment Day (at our office in Hammersmith): Likely to take place towards the end of June and will include an interview, an immersive job‑relevant task and a collaborative group activity. The interview and assessment activities are designed to be friendly, supportive, and accessible for people with no prior experience.
Offer & Onboarding: The Graduate Legal Interns start at the end of August and early September
