Disney+ is the dedicated streaming home for movies and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Hulu and more, including exclusive originals and the latest releases from The Walt Disney Studios.                  

    The Performance Marketing Manager provides expertise and strategic direction across media strategy, planning and buying for Disney streaming services, delivering best-in-class media plans targeted towards subscriber acquisition campaign. Sitting within the Growth Marketing team, the role collaborates closely with the Brand & Content, Social Media, Customer Lifecycle, Analytics & Data and Partnership teams, requiring strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, as well as strong client management skills to own the day-to-day relationship with agency partners.

    This role will be instrumental in driving Disney+ subscriber acquisition, ensuring subscriber targets are delivered in Thailand, and will act as the local market expert on the media landscape, publishers, new platform opportunities and identifying new opportunities to drive subscriber acquisition.

    Areas of Responsibility

    • End to end responsibility of Performance Marketing – overall acquiring and growing quality Disney+ subscribers; managing performance focused media and affiliate / partnership-based acquisition campaigns primarily on digital media - from ideation to media planning to creative planning to optimization and performance analysis / insightful outcomes & actions.
    • Identify sources of growth, profitability and efficiencies through strategic thinking and data & analytics, driving highly targeted programs based on content affinity of segmented audience cohorts.
    • Monitor campaigns daily across internal / external consoles, adjusting and optimizing as needed to drive consistent performance.
    • Provide local media benchmarks, competitor analysis and publisher insights to target new audiences and optimize measurement metrics.
    • Drive efficiencies and reach through continuous localized A/B testing, new platforms, products and formats, and local creative adaptations (language / format etc.).
    • Strong grasp in Purchase led (CPS based) campaigns across Web and App as well as 3rd Party analytics tools  for optimization & data processing.
    • Partner with regional and local teams to define yearly targets, build business cases, and develop data-backed plans to accelerate growth on a quarterly and annual basis.
    • Serve as the primary relationship owner for a major affiliate partner – leading joint business planning, performance reviews, negotiations and issue resolution – and work closely with key partners (Payments) and local brands, platforms and communities to scale subscriber growth as part of the affiliate strategy.
    • Lead cross-functional project management within the Growth Marketing team – coordinating briefs, timelines and deliverables across the Content, Brand and wider Marketing teams to ensure integrated, on-time campaign execution.


    Areas of Accountability

    • This role will report directly to the Senior Manager, Performance Marketing (TH & PH)
    • Professional Qualifications and Experience
    • A Bachelor’s Degree, with min 8 -10 years of relevant experience in Media planning with a strong focus on Performance Marketing in last 6-7 years.
    • Experience in handling large scale campaign planning, optimization for both performance and brand impact & reach
    • Strong knowledge of OTT subscription services and its competitive landscape
    • Strong understanding of media and content landscape
    • Experience in working with creative teams to develop concepts and bring messaging to life
    • Local language essential and awareness of local trends / preferences


    Skills

    • Good understanding and working knowledge of Publisher Platforms (Local & Global), Latest Web & Mobile analytics, as well as 3rd party reporting dashboards.
    • Strong client / partner management and communication skills – able to build trusted relationships with senior external and internal stakeholders, manage expectations and negotiate win-win outcomes.
    • Excellent project management skills – organised and structured, comfortable managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously across functions.
