Since launching in 1998, Disney Cruise Line has established itself as a leader in the cruise industry, providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge and children can experience all Disney has to offer. About Hotel Operations on Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line delivers immersive vacation experiences at sea, supported by shoreside teams that enable safe, efficient and high-quality hotel operations.

The Hotel Operations team works cross-functionally with Sourcing, Logistics, Warehouse and Shipboard teams to ensure operational items are sourced, tracked and delivered to the vessel.

About the Role

The Hotel Operations – Sourcing & Logistics Intern will support the Senior Manager, Hotel Operations, Sourcing Manager and Logistics Specialist in coordinating sourcing, inventory management, logistics and delivery of Hotel Operations items.

The intern will gain practical exposure to the end-to-end sourcing and logistics process, from local sourcing and purchase tracking through warehouse receipt and final transfer of items to shipboard operations.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing & Procurement Support

  • Assist with the local sourcing of Hotel Operations items, working closely with the Senior Manager, Hotel Operations and Sourcing Manager.
  • Support sourcing activities including item identification, specifications, supplier coordination, quotations and order follow-up.
  • Maintain visibility of locally sourced items and follow up on outstanding or delayed requirements.

Inventory & Warehouse Tracking

  • Assist in maintaining and reviewing the Inventory on Hand Report for Hotel Operations items stored at the warehouse.
  • Support reconciliation of items received against outstanding requirements.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information and items requiring operational follow-up.

Master Tracker Management

  • Maintain a consolidated Hotel Operations Master Tracker covering items ordered, received, pending receipt, held at the warehouse, scheduled for transfer, transferred to shipboard and outstanding actions.
  • Ensure information is regularly updated and provides clear visibility to relevant stakeholders.

Logistics & Shipboard Transfer

  • Work with the Logistics Specialist to support the end-to-end logistics cycle from warehouse receipt through shipboard delivery.
  • Track movement of Hotel Operations items from the warehouse to the vessel.
  • Assist in ensuring transfers are properly documented and successfully completed.
  • Follow up on outstanding transfers and support resolution of discrepancies.

Backlog Management

  • Assist in reviewing and cleaning up the backlog of Hotel Operations items that remain pending receipt or delivery.
  • Investigate outstanding items with relevant Sourcing, Logistics, Warehouse and Hotel Operations stakeholders.
  • Maintain an action tracker and support closure of aged outstanding items.

Overall

  • Coordinate across the Senior Manager, Hotel Operations, Sourcing Manager, Logistics Specialist, Warehouse Team, Shipboard Hotel Operations Teams, vendors, suppliers and other relevant shoreside operational partners.
  • Support data tracking and reporting to improve inventory visibility and operational follow-up.
  • Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to problem-solving and process improvement opportunities.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2027
  • Must be available to work on-site throughout the full period of internship

Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to manage trackers and operational data
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies
  • Comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Interest in hospitality, cruise operations, procurement, supply chain, or logistics
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Self-starter who can work with appropriate guidance and take ownership of assigned actions
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
