How will you contribute to our magical experience?

At Disney Brazil, the Manager, Paid Media Strategy will be responsible for the execution and measurement of Disney+ marketing initiatives in Brazil within the Growth Marketing team, driving world-class, data-driven media plans across all paid digital channels. The role leads a Supervisor and coordinates external resources supporting trafficking and reporting, while partnering closely with multiple stakeholders across the local and regional organization.

 

The Manager, Paid Media Strategy will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a well-rounded, senior media expert responsible for the end-to-end strategy, execution and measurement of world-class, data-driven media plans for Disney+ in Brazil.
  • Leading and developing a supervisor, and coordinating external resources supporting trafficking and reporting, to build capability and drive effective media planning that fuels brand growth.
  • Media leadership: ability to influence media decisions and manage multiple senior stakeholders, internally and externally, with maturity and autonomy, including regular alignment with the Regional team based in Buenos Aires.
  • Test and iterate on campaign structures, bidding, ad creative, budgets and other impact driven variables for continuous growth, scale, and expansion to reflect our brand and content awareness in the Brazilian market.
  • Problem-solving to tackle challenges on Digital Paid Awareness campaigns and processes.
  • Educate local teams on latest paid trends and clear insights on performance in Brazil to enhance knowledge across teams and provide new ideas to facilitate Brand Awareness, full funnel influence through acquisition and engagement. Researching and coming up with new platforms and publishers to test on in the region.
  • Take customer data to identify patterns, behaviors and proactively apply them to increase our main KPIs.
  • Brainstorm and partner with with the Brand Strategy Team to come up with angles that will be profitable at scale in order to achieve the main Awareness KPIs (Reach, Frequency, Impressions, Awareness, engagement).
  • Leverage our key media partners to efficiently scale our Awareness programs through data-driven analysis and insights, supported by a thorough testing and optimization plan.

 

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising/business administration, engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in digital marketing, including proven experience leading teams and managing external agencies/vendors, in a heavily performance-and-brand driven environment.
  • Experience managing large-scale campaigns and multiple senior stakeholders in a matrix organization; people management experience is a plus.
  • Deeply knowledge of multi-channel marketing and attribution models.
  • Experience in entertainment industry is a plus.
  • Experience with Digital Advertising Platforms: Programmatic (DV360), Social (META, X, Tik Tok, Twitch), SEM, Display, YouTube.
  • 6+ years of experience designing and managing digital awareness and performance advertising campaigns, including leading direct reports and external agency/vendor resources. (Managing Digital Products/Services is a plus).
  • Experience delivering digital advertising solutions to meet business goals.
  • Proven people leadership skills, with passion for developing a direct report and managing external agency/vendor resources; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring out the best in people.
  • Distinctive problem-solving and prioritization skills supported by a keen attention to detail and ability to navigate between the strategic and tactical.
  • Excellent project and program management skills, with proven ability to build collaborative relationships and influence multiple senior, cross-functional stakeholders (local and regional) in a complex matrix organization to achieve win-win outcomes.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills, with an emphasis on identifying actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Portugues, English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Curious and self-motivated, with a drive to innovate and improve.
