About the Role & Team
Overall Purpose of the Role
The DTC team in EMEA is responsible for the day to day operation of Disney+ across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, specifically focused on marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, content programming, research and analytics.
We’re seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Disney+ Analytics & Insights EMEA team on a fixed-term basis, based in London. Working as part of the Content Analytics team, this role will be focused on delivering timely insights to inform initiatives across Disney+ EMEA, utilising our vast wealth of data to discover opportunities to optimise our content proposition to best meet the needs of our customers. The team focuses on all aspects of engagement with the service, including performance of key titles, consumption of the Disney+ catalogue, content merchandising, and engagement with new and existing product features.
Using your analytical experience and expertise, you will be contributing to growing knowledge of what best resonates with our customers, and with your storytelling expertise, collaborating with key business partners to bring those insights to life.
The role will deliver best-in-class analysis of our content and product performance, and leverage top class analytical skills, excellent communication skills, laser-sharp attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and support needs of business stakeholders.
This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do
Areas of Reonsibility
- Deliver timely analysis and insight to support the Content Programming, Merchandising, Marketing and Product teams in EMEA in order to gain a deep understanding of content performance. This will be achieved through proactive identification of opportunities and applying the right tools and techniques for each piece of analysis
- Utilise advanced analytics methodologies and models to understand user behaviour and content performance
- Present crystal clear results with insights, related implications and actions to a variety of stakeholders
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations to monitor key metrics and provide regular updates on content and engagement performance to stakeholders
- Support training of teams to adopt self-serve and interpret data insights, encouraging a data-led decision-making mindset
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and creating new ones, acknowledging opportunities when automatable scalable solutions are required and when one off analytics is best placed
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the wider Analytics and business teams (Programming, Product, Content Marketing) at regional and global level, to align on key priorities and targets
- Closely manage requests coming through, liaising with stakeholders to deliver analysis in a timely, manageable manner
What we expect from you
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of analytical insight experience
- Extensive experience using SQL, with experience in data visualisation and dashboard development (we primarily use Looker)
- Strong grounding in statistical methods (e.g. hypothesis testing, regression analysis, segmentation), with practical, hands-on experience applying these to real business questions
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Marketing, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Social Science)
- Top-class analytical mindset — able to QA others' work, think strategically, and analyse and interpret market and consumer data, drawing on a wide range of analytical tools and types of insight
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative working style and a desire to share knowledge that benefits the wider team
- Able to work autonomously, handling multiple projects and hitting key deadlines, with the flexibility to take creative approaches to analysis and the agility to adapt to evolving demands
- Proactively uses AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate manual processes, and find creative solutions to problems, applying sound judgement on when and how to use them
Preferred qualifications
- Graduate degree in a relevant quantitative field
- Python/R or other statistical programming language experience
- Background in analytics in the digital or entertainment space
