About the Role:

The Integrated Facilities Planning (IFP) team develops, maintains, and refines the integrated multi-year asset reinvestment strategies and plan for our Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts. We develop the near-term plan for review, approval, and implementation. We focus on the sustainment and life cycle optimization of existing assets with long-term, multi-year planning and represent the lifecycle perspective in new development.

The Integrated Facilities Planner is a skilled, independent professional who develops and maintains multi-year facilities reinvestment plans that sustain the integrity, show quality, and safety of Walt Disney World assets across Disney Experiences. In this role, you will translate complex facility needs into effective, data-driven plans that optimize asset life cycles and support world-class guest experiences in our parks and resorts.

 

This role has property-wide responsibility. You must have a high level of comfort working with partners across the FOS organization, including Engineering, Maintenance, Utilities, Manufacturing, Construction, Distribution Services, Project Management, Finance, and Walt Disney World as a whole.

 

This position will report to the Mgr-IFP Program Development.

 

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will lead the planning and sustainment of a defined portfolio of Walt Disney World facilities assets, ensuring that multi-year strategies, near-term plans, and asset data are accurate, integrated, and actionable across partners in Facility Operation Services, Finance, and the broader Disney Experiences organization. Your work will matter by enabling effective capital deployment, minimizing operational risk, and supporting creative, customer-focused experiences through strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Lead development and sustainment of a portion of the integrated, multi-year facilities program that preserves the integrity, show quality, and safety of existing Walt Disney World assets.
• Ensure data integrity throughout the planning lifecycle, including asset strategies, life-cycle assumptions, and integration of new assets into the portfolio.
• Use facilities and asset management software tools to build, analyze, and refine plans and programs, driving effective decision-making.
• Support research, scope validation, field/photo documentation, and preparation of clear, effective presentations for leadership and partners.
• Support and implement IFP business strategies, processes, and metrics to improve consistency, transparency, and performance of the planning program.
• Support and implement business strategies, processes, metrics, and performance reporting across all of FAM—not just IFP—including recurring dashboards, executive-ready summaries, and trend analysis to inform investment prioritization
• Exercise strong partnership, collaboration, and facilitation skills across Facility Operation Services, Finance, and other stakeholders to align on priorities and resolve issues.
• Work independently with minimal guidance, managing competing priorities and acting as a resource and informal mentor to colleagues with less experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in the construction industry, facilities management, or a similar built-environment setting.
• Experience working with project and program partners and customers, including cross-functional operational and support teams.
• Experience in facility asset planning and project management, including coordination of multiple concurrent efforts.
• Familiarity with the technical aspects, methods, and terminology of construction and maintenance work.
• Proficiency using facilities planning, asset management, or related analytical software tools for program development and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and offer new perspectives on existing solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain difficult or sensitive concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance while managing a high volume of tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in a related or applicable field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in engineering services or maintenance environments supporting complex facilities portfolios.
• Experience with asset strategies, analysis, and sustainment planning for large-scale or multi-site operations.
• Experience with facility planning or asset management software such as Tririga, Maximo, VueWorks, or similar tools.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle, including facilities project management, engineering design, construction, and sustainment activities.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in facilities planning, construction, asset management, or related fields.

The hiring range for this position in Florida is $91,000 - $121,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
