As a Merchandise Cast Member, you will help Guests find memorable gifts and souvenirs to commemorate their visit - from a highly sought-after Spirit Jersey to a Cinderella dress that helps make a child’s dream come true. In this role, you will proactively engage with Guests, discover their shopping needs, and work in a variety of Merchandise locations throughout the Disneyland® Resort. Additionally, Merchandise Cast Members may provide support at the Stroller Shop, assisting Guests with stroller and Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals.

A day in the life may include:
- Proactively approaching Guests and using open-ended questions to discover their shopping needs
- Learning about the products offered and sharing that knowledge with Guests
- Creating service solutions using products available within the location and making additional recommendations to meet Guest needs
- Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system, including handling cash, counting money, making change, and processing credit cards and other forms of payment
- Maintaining Disney show standards by keeping Merchandise locations neat, clean, stocked, and organized
- Balancing Guest engagement with cashiering, product replenishment, and other operational responsibilities
- Working collaboratively and adapting to changing Guest and operational needs in a fast-paced environment

Stroller Shop
Cast Members working at the Stroller Shop assist Guests with stroller, wheelchair, and Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals while rotating among Guest Service, Greeter, and Cashier positions. Responsibilities include processing rental transactions, explaining rental procedures, and clearly communicating applicable safety protocols and Park rules for mobility rentals. Cast Members also wipe down, clean, organize, and stage rental equipment; manually move or push equipment out to Guests; and recover rental vehicles from locations throughout Disneyland® Park, Disney California Adventure® Park, and the Downtown Disney® District. They may also assist Guests with basic equipment-use troubleshooting, as needed.
The Stroller Shop is part of the Merchandise operation for Cast Members assigned that role. Depending on your, work location, training, and operational needs, you may be scheduled to work in this assignment.
This is an active, fast-paced, and highly Guest-facing assignment that requires heavy lifting, frequent equipment handling, manual dexterity, a sense of urgency, and attention to detail. Cast Members are welcoming and efficient while assisting multiple Guests and ensuring rental equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use.
Stock/Runner
Cast Members may also be trained and scheduled in the Stock/Runner assignment. New Cast Members may receive this training shortly after completing their initial on-the-job training.
Stock/Runner responsibilities include receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise. Cast Members use handheld electronic devices to accurately record product locations, locate merchandise, and identify products that need to be replenished onstage. This assignment includes frequent product handling, heavy lifting, and moving between onstage and backstage work areas while maintaining a sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
Experiencia laboral requerida:
- You must be 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Previous experience in a position with consistent cash handling
- Experience with a high level of Guest interaction in a very fast pace environment
Experiencia deseada:
- Previous retail or related sales experience, including cashier

Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
