Facilities Control Clerk - Full-Time, Disney's Vero Beach Resort
Job Summary:
The primary function of this role is to provide support to the Engineering and Housekeeping team in a Warehouse environment. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, maintaining multiple parts and tool inventories, including, but not limited to organizing and inputting equipment/parts into an inventory database, completing physical inventories, maintaining database records, and reordering and restocking as required. Validate parts orders to appropriate documentation (i.e. drawings, cut sheets) prior to placing orders and upon receipt. Order supplies using Maximo and SAP systems as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for procurement, receiving, shipping, and inventory tracking of warehouse stock and items purchased for all Resort Operations.
Maintain inventory tracking system and stock of Engineering and Housekeeping supplies
Follow established budget guidelines for cost control relating to operating areas.
Monitor occupancy trends and usage and recommend adjustments in purchasing and inventory levels.
Receive vendor requisitions through SAP system.
Monitor supplier shipments and delivery performance.
Responsible for warranty items.
Partner with Walt Didney World procurement to research commodities and vendors as necessary.
Provide follow-up with vendors to expedite and/or meet delivery requirements.
Responsible for the manual computer input of all stock entering and leaving warehouse.
Research ways to gain efficiencies when utilizing supplies.
Responsible to schedule all Resort vehicle repairs and maintenance.
Responsible for the receiving, and distributing of all office supply products based on departmental order requests.
Responsible for procurement, receiving, tracking and returning of all costuming supplies.
Validate parts orders to appropriate documentation (i.e. drawings) prior to placing orders and upon receipt.
Pull and Store inventory parts / Restock equipment bins and locations.
Transport and move parts and supplies using a forklift truck. Must be able to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist to manage inventory
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Valid Driver License with an Insurable driving record (validated by Disney Vacation Club)
Must have or be able to obtain forklift, powered industrial truck, tugger, and other equipment operational certificationsas required.
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible in addition to being a self starter with proven initiative
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrate strong organizational skills with attention to detail and impeccable follow through
Must have ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Some heavy lifting required. (Up to 50 lbs.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous inventory control or warehouse experience
Basic Accounting knowledge
Demonstrate proficiency with SAP
Demonstrate experience with Accounting and Expense Reports
Ability to handle confidential information that impacts Guest/Cast/Vendors
Required Education:
• High School degree or equivalent
