About the Role & Team
The Marine & Technical Project Analyst, will lead the coordination and oversight of marine and technical division within the shipyard team, specialising in the construction of Disney Cruise Line vessels by our Walt Disney Imagineering team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of project timelines, resource allocation, and team performance. Reporting to Marine & Technical Executive, the role will focus on turning complex data into clear recommendations that keep the programme on track, compliant, and ready for operational handover.

This role will be based in our Papenburg (Germany) Shipyard Site office. This role is a project-based fixed term role for approx. 4 years.

What You Will Do
Own the integrated programme plan for Marine & Technical (M&T), maintaining critical paths, dependencies, and phased deliverables across engineering, shipyard, and commissioning workstreams (e.g., MS Project/PowerBI).
Lead the M&T analytics and reporting rhythm - design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and KPI frameworks that provide timely, accurate, decision‑ready insights for senior leaders.
Translate data into decisions: extract, validate, and model data from multiple systems (planning tools, yard data, vendor reports) to drive prioritisation, risk mitigation, and milestone confidence.
Lead and facilitate structured planning sessions for marine and technical activities, including coordination of specialized equipment procurement, vendor management, and integration of engineering designs into construction phases.
Organize the marine and technical team, fostering cross-functional collaboration among the M&T engineers and external partners, including design and outfitting teams, to efficiently resolve design and construction challenges.
Monitor resource utilization, budget adherence, and compliance with relevant maritime regulations (e.g., SOLAS, IMO standards) throughout the shipbuilding lifecycle.
Track shipyard project planning for M&T workstreams, proactively identifying schedule variances, emerging risks, and dependency impacts; consolidate mitigation strategies from technical teams to maintain delivery momentum.
Facilitate communication and alignment between shipyard operations, design teams, and cruise line stakeholders to ensure technical specifications are understood, validated, and delivered to the required quality and timeline.
Plan and coordinate crew and commissioning team deployment’
ensuring timely arrival at the shipyard and alignment of training schedules with programme milestones and operational needs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Demonstrated experience delivering complex passenger vessel or large marine new builds within shipyards.
Strong knowledge of shipyard operations and technical installation sequencing.
Education in project management and administration is desirable
Attention to detail, strong analytical and reporting skills.
Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced proficiency in project planning tools and Power BI; able to design executive‑grade dashboards and analytics.
Working understanding of SOLAS, IMO, and class requirements for passenger ships.
