Job Summary:

Department Description:

“We Power the Magic!” That’s our motto at Disney Experiences (DX). Our team creates world-class immersive digital experiences for the Company’s premier vacation brands, including Disney’s Parks & Resorts worldwide, Disney Cruise Line, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, and Disney Vacation Club. We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation, and Merchandise lines of business, as well as other initiatives, including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!

Team Description:

This role sits in the US Parks Experience Access team within Technology for Disney Experiences. It works closely with commercial business and operations partners from across the company.

The Lead Product Manager will report to the Manager, Product Management.

The DXT Experience Access Product Team oversees the Guest facing digital products that shape how Guests access our attractions and experiences, including Lightning Lane, Virtual Queue, and Disability Access Service. The team also oversees the attractions, character, and entertainment content for offerings across both domestic sites, including its water parks. These products are critical to how our sites operate and to how Guests plan and move through their day, and they sit at the intersection of technology, commercial strategy, and park operations. The work is complex, highly visible, and never the same two quarters in a row.

The Lead Product Manager is responsible for the standards, planning discipline, and delivery quality of the products across the Experience Access portfolio. The role carries its own delivery accountability along with functional leadership expectations for the team, without direct reports.

The Lead Product Manager defines product requirements for new features and capabilities, partnering closely with engineering, design, operations, and business teams throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and development through launch, go to market execution, and ongoing support. This role helps execute the feature roadmap, solves complex problems with creative solutions, and ensures our products are successfully delivered, adopted, and operationally supported. Much of that scope sits in the integration work we share with other DXT teams.

Key areas of focus include leading our content scope as a product, including its strategy, standards, tooling, and process; raising the delivery standard across our core products from sprint to sprint and quarter to quarter; and flexing onto incoming work, owning the integrations and changes our products need to adopt.

Across all areas, this role is expected to leverage existing technology. That means using it to drive insight and efficiency, building tools that unlock additional performance, and maintaining the context layers that technology tools, agents, and workflows depend on to be effective.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for a defined product area, ensuring clarity of vision, goals, and measurable outcomes
  • Define and maintain product strategy, roadmap, requirements, and success metrics for your domain and set the planning and delivery standards applied across the Experience Access portfolio.
  • Drive cross‑functional alignment across engineering, UX, data science, marketing, and business stakeholders
  • Lead solution definition and delivery for complex features or workflows, balancing technical feasibility and user value
  • Oversee product integrations, architectural considerations, and system dependencies
  • Guide development of cross‑platform applications and system‑to‑system experiences
  • Use research, experimentation, and KPI analysis to inform prioritization and product decisions
  • Identify systemic issues, partner on solutions, and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and usability
  • Create and refine personas, customer journeys, and value frameworks; lead advanced analysis of product metrics
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on technical strategy, solution testing, and implementation plans
  • Champion use of innovative digital technologies to unlock new customer value
  • Build depth in product domains, technology areas, and customer segments
  • Lead in a domain and/or technology area (i.e., web, mobile, cloud, AI, or product ecosystems), driving innovation and excellence in product development
  • Contribute to the estimation and planning of complex and scalable projects, including budget considerations
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to provide well-reasoned product recommendations
  • Create and deliver compelling, high-quality presentations for diverse audiences, demonstrating strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive key initiatives
  • Own the operating model for content delivery, including intake, standards, quality expectations, consistency, documentation, and enablement for onshore, near-shore, and managed-service partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of related work experience
  • Experience with multiple development methodologies, especially Scrum and Agile variants
  • Familiar with using complex content management systems, including content modeling, publishing workflows, and high-volume content delivery and motivated to expand technical expertise.
  • Skilled in leading a product area end‑to‑end, including strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes
  • Strong competency in evaluating trade‑offs across user value, technical constraints, and business impact
  • Experience driving complex features, integrations, or cross‑system solutions.
  • Established depth in a domain or technology area that informs product direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or directing the work of contractors, agencies, or managed-service partners, including onboarding, standards, and quality oversight.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use hard data to form assumptions, build business cases, and resolve complex technical, user, and business issues in a fast-paced organization.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, with proven ability to influence at the executive level.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology and the Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated use of technology to drive insight and efficiency, including building or prototyping tools, workflows, or agents, prompt design, agentic workflows, or AI-assisted product operations, along with a commitment to maintaining the structured documentation and context those tools depend on.
  • Experience with Guest access, ticketing, entitlement, reservation, or queuing digital products.
  • Experience with localization and multi-market content delivery.
  • Familiarity with Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort park operations.
  • Experience with iOS and Android release processes.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study and/or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
