Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Americas Brand Commercialization is a highly visible role within the Consumer Products division of The Walt Disney Company, supporting the Star Wars, Marvel, and 20th Century portfolios across the Americas. The role serves as a regional brand expert, bringing a deep understanding of brand priorities, content, consumer trends, and market dynamics to help shape strategic recommendations and guide execution across the business.
The role works closely with global brand teams and cross-functional partners to develop regional brand strategies that drive commercial return. The Senior Manager helps identify opportunities and plays a key role in turning insights and business priorities into clear recommendations and actionable plans for the region
A key aspect of the role is driving alignment and momentum across multiple stakeholder groups. The Senior Manager leads the development and delivery of impactful presentations, strategic narratives, and represents the brand in key internal and external forums, ensuring brand priorities are clearly understood and consistently mobilized.
This role will report directly to the Director, Americas Brand Commercialization and be based onsite in Glendale, CA.
Responsibilities/What you will do:
Represent the franchise as a confident and engaging storyteller, creating and delivering impactful presentations and communications that build alignment, advocacy, and excitement
Support & deliver Disney brand strategies for the Americas
Serve as the regional brand expert, maintaining a deep understanding of global brand objectives, content priorities, brand standards, and market opportunities
Lead the development of detailed Brand Plans that communicate strategic recommendations by synthesizing brand performance, financial analysis, consumer insights, market trends, retailer activity, and business priorities
Lead the creation and delivery of presentations, strategic narratives, updates, and planning materials for leadership, cross-functional teams, licensees, retailers, and other key partners
Establish and oversee key timelines, milestones, and cross-functional workstreams to ensure successful delivery of brand priorities and launches
Represent the brand in strategic partner discussions and high-impact external engagements, acting as a trusted and knowledgeable brand lead
Build strong relationships across global, regional, and cross-functional teams, driving alignment, improving ways of working, and ensuring clear and timely communication of brand priorities
Manage and develop a direct report
Requirements/What you will have:
5-7 + years of progressive brand/franchise experience
Strong understanding of the Star Wars, Marvel, and 20th Century Studios brands and the broader organization
Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated ability to craft stories
Experience with Excel, Word, Keynote & PowerPoint, and other asset management software
Ability to build trust and strong relationships with studio partners, executives, and cross-functional partners. Agile and responsive – can thrive in ambiguous business situations
Proven ability to be resourceful, decisive, confident under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment
Strong organizational and analytical skills; attention to detail
Outstanding creativity and drive; excellent written and oral communication and collaboration skills
Availability/flexibility in schedule that may include working on weekends
Available for business travel as needed. Possess a valid passport
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $139,200.00-$186,600.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
