Parks Steward/Dishwasher - Part Time
Job Summary:

As a Parks Steward/Dishwasher, you will play an important role in supporting Food & Beverage locations throughout the Disneyland® Resort. You will help maintain clean and organized kitchens and dish rooms by washing and storing dishes, cookware, utensils, trays, and other kitchen equipment while supporting established safety and sanitation standards.
Parks Stewards/Dishwashers may support a variety of Food & Beverage environments based on operational needs, from high-volume dining locations to fine dining experiences. Fine dining assignments may include locations such as Club 33 at Disneyland Park or Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure Park, where Cast Members support elevated dining experiences through attention to cleanliness, organization, presentation, and teamwork.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, teamwork, and keeping an operation running smoothly. Parks Stewards/Dishwashers may also support general kitchen cleaning, trash removal, organization, and other stewarding responsibilities throughout the workday.
Cast Members in Parks Food & Beverage may work in a variety of locations based on operational and scheduling needs.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and transport used trays, plates, silverware, glassware, cookware, utensils, and other kitchen items to designated cleaning areas
- Wash, scrub, sort, organize, and restock dishes, pots, pans, trays, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment
- Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines and manually wash kitchen items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchens, dish rooms, backstage areas, corridors, and assigned Guest-facing areas
- Sweep and mop floors, remove trash, and dispose of waste in designated containers
- Break down cardboard and may operate a cardboard baler
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and other assigned locations
- Follow established sanitation procedures, including proper chemical use and temperature standards for sinks and dishwashing equipment
- Safely handle and work around cleaning chemicals and food products
- Work around food products including, but not limited to, beef, pork, poultry, fish, shellfish, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and dairy products
- Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, face shields, goggles, or other safety equipment as required
- Complete required safety, sanitation, regulatory, and role-specific training
- Support Cast Members and leaders in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and efficient work environment
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Ability to understand and follow safety, sanitation, and work procedures
- Ability to listen carefully, follow instructions, and take direction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in noisy kitchen environments and confined or limited workspaces
- Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and a variety of food products
- Willingness to use company-provided Personal Protective Equipment as required
- Flexible and adaptable to working in a variety of Food & Beverage locations based on operational needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant, kitchen, stewarding, dishwasher, hospitality, or food service experience
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to support both backstage and Guest-facing operations
Additional Information:
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
This role is Part Time. During non-peak seasons, it requires availability including Friday evenings, full availability Saturday & Sunday, and weekday evenings for Special Events during nonpeak seasons
Full availability is required during our peak periods, including Summer, Christmas, Spring Break, and Holiday Weekends

The pay rate for this role in California is $25.65 per hour.
