Hotel Door Attendant - Part Time
Job Summary:

Working in Bell Services at our Disneyland Resort Hotels, you will have the opportunity to make lasting impressions in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment!
Disneyland Resort Door Attendants greet Guests as they arrive to their hotel, creating a warm and welcoming environment and setting the stage for their stay. They monitor the driveway and hotel entry to ensure safety of all Guests and Cast Members and focus on efficiently coordinating vehicle traffic. Door Attendants assist Guests with their luggage and vehicles while answering questions and providing directions for check-in and check-out.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome arriving Guests with a smile and warm greeting
- Assist departing Guests with directions and thank them for their stay
- Direct traffic on hotel driveway, ensuring a safe environment for all
- Transport guest luggage to storage areas
- Ensure guest arrival experience is smooth through immersive interactions, including those arriving on public transportation and buses
- Communicate with guest services, front desk, and valet staff to inform of arriving Guests
- Proactively address guest needs by answering questions, giving directions, and other information regarding the hotel/resort or surrounding areas
- Work outdoors in all kinds of weather including extreme temperatures and high humidity
- Stand/walk for up to 8 hours per day
- Own and resolve Guest situations
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Clean driving record for past 12 months
- 1+ year in bell services, guest services, or similar role at a large, luxury resort or hotel
- Comfortable driving all types of vehicles
- Excellent Guest Service and service recovery abilities
- Willing to take initiative to actively greet and welcome Guests
- Strong communication skills
- Adept at troubleshooting and can calmly handle difficult situations
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and direction
- Comfortable working a physically demanding role for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to multi-task and work in a very fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 + year of experience in a 5 Star hotel
- Bilingual

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. You may be scheduled a graveyard shift. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
