Fitness Attendant - Tenaya Stone Spa - Part Time
Job Summary:
As a Fitness Attendant, at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you have the ability to make fitness fun in our state-of-the-art health club, Eureka Fitness Center. Responsible for providing exceptional service to Hotel Guests throughout the fitness facility. This position requires acknowledging and greeting Guests who enter and depart the fitness center and orienting Guests to the fitness facility at entry while providing personal Guest Service. In addition, they are responsible for keeping the fitness center neat, clean and well stocked with all amenities.
Responsibilities:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Provide consistent professional guest service in accordance with fitness attendant protocols and hotel standards
- Acknowledge and greet Guests who enter and leave the fitness facilities
- Properly care for equipment and maintain fitness equipment
- Maintain eye contact when addressing all Guests
- Handle Guests questions and concerns professionally and courteously
- Properly clean and sanitize fitness equipment
- Maintain a clean, well-organized and stocked fitness area
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of all fitness offerings while educating guests in these areas
- Perform administrative duties in a complete, organized and accurate manner; including inventory counts and order requests
- Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail as well as wellness programs and promotions
- Provide courteous, accurate and prompt responses to guests’ requests in a professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction
- Regularly attend/participate in and support ongoing training to continue to be knowledgeable about current fitness/wellness trends and new products
- Adhere to opening and closing procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures
- Accurately book, change and cancel fitness class reservations
- Utilize company computers with skill and proficiency
- Follow stock replenishment procedures
- Adhere to loss prevention guidelines
- Additional leadership opportunities may be available
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to complete tasks independently
- Knowledgeable about The Disneyland Resort and surrounding area
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Spa or Hotel environment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Experience in the fitness field

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.

The pay rate for this role in California is $26.00 per hour.
