How will you contribute to our magical experience?
We are seeking a Senior Manager whose primary goal is to develop regional and local expertise to support the multiplatform ecosystem of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC). This role involves providing actionable information, data analytics, and market trends to maximize the performance and revenue of our multiplatform (linear and non-linear) Home and Out-of-Home business across the region.
The Senior Manager will be responsible for:
- Engage with key stakeholders to support and develop primary research business stream to achieve client´s needs with innovative and valuable research proposals, data and insights to our advertising clients and agencies, focusing on key narratives regarding the Disney audience and services.
- Manage ads measurement campaigns studies, working with cross-functional partners and Consumer Insights team, to identify data and insights to be used to build key narratives of TWDC audience ecosystem.
- Execute qualitative and quantitative studies to position Disney platforms as a strong, revenue-producing brand, identifying marketing key demographics that relate to major advertisers through internal teams or external vendors, which impacts directly to the revenue in each TWDC's business.
- Lead third-party research while managing relationships with vendors and external measurement and research partners.
- Oversee and manage special projects from the LATAM region by monitoring key timelines and implementing market research techniques, including recruitment of respondents, survey development, data output and report delivery.
- Create and present Disney storytelling through presentations and reports for our internal clients, interpreting the appropriate data and communicating the results through storylines with of media and consumer research studies.
- Explore, develop, and interpret findings and insights from various research sources (syndicated, social listening, primary research, etc.) of LATAM industries and consumer trends of key advertisers to enhance the TWDC LATAM sales strategies and position the brand from our key competitors.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- 7+ years in media measurement at a TV, streaming or digital company.
- Dual TV/Video and digital experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the advertising landscape, across digital, CTV or streaming and/or TV and various methods of buying.
- Experience working with syndicated measurement tools (ie - Nielsen, Kantar- Ibope, GWI, TGI, etc.) and/or familiarity with 3rd Party vendor solutions (ie - Kantar, Ipsos, panels, etc).
- Advanced English (is a must), Portuguese (preferred) and Spanish (native or advanced)
- Experience running campaign effectiveness studies and analysis, including brand lifts, incrementality, attribution studies).
- Ability to learn tools and improve processes & workflows.
- Strong Strategic Thinking: engaging in broad, complex, and dynamic business.
- Analytical and Creative Acumen: transforming consumer insights and data into problem-solve actionable strategies and tactics.
- Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities.
- Strong Presentation and Communication Skills: clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Flexible to manage many simultaneous projects with changing deadlines, involving cross-functional projects and multicultural teams.
- Fosters continues improvement, customer oriented and results driven.
