How will you contribute to our magical experience?
The Consumer Insights analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive product innovation, business growth, and brand performance. This role applies advanced analytical techniques to uncover trends, measure impact, and inform strategic decisions across entertainment, sports, and digital streaming categories, working closely to. Marketing, Content Development, Business, Sports and Franchise teams on brands such as Disney+, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, Hulu, ESPN among others.
The Analyst, Consumer Insights will be responsible for:
- Manage qualitative and quantitative projects with agencies and in house. From writing briefs and selecting methodologies to analyzing and creating the final presentation.
- Utilize SQL to query and manage large datasets to uncover trends in audience engagement, consumption habits, and competitive market performance across streaming platforms.
- Execute all technical aspects of quantitative research initiatives including sample configuration, questionnaire development, analytical planning and data analysis using SPSS, Power BI and other database tools.
- Manage logistical aspects of qualitative research initiatives related to content, developing screeners, overseeing recruits and developing discussion guides.
- Analyze research findings to develop client-friendly internal reports for both quantitative and qualitative reporting, using a story-based reporting approach
- Analyze a broad array of data points from internal and external sources related to Company IP, Product and Library Assets
- Work with external vendors and effectively collaborate with them in order to successfully complete and deliver insights projects.
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Content Development, Business and Sports and be a partner to understand consumers.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- At least 3+ years of experience in the research, insights or data driven roles.
- Degree in Economy, Statistics, Data, Social Sciences, Business or other related fields.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (SQL, Excel, SPSS) and visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI).
- Advanced level of English.
- Analytical skills are a must.
- Knowledge of statistics for sample configuration, weighting and quotas.
- Ability to combine an analytical profile with empathy to understand consumer.
- Good communication and presenting skills.
- Ability to resume complex data in simple visual charts.
