Laundry Specialist Senior (Utility) - Full Time, Walt Disney World

Do you have passion for Laundry and working independently? We are currently seeking a Laundry Specialist Senior (Utility) Cast Member to work at Walt Disney World.
Cast in the Utility role may be assigned to work at one or more laundry facilities. Work responsibilities vary and may include: Loading and unloading of trucks. Use of a forklift, pallet jack, tugger, Taylor Dunn or other specialty equipment. Cast may conduct inventory, assist in the processing of linen, prioritize/sequence product for processing, organize/dispose of recyclable materials, and other duties as assigned. Cast Members may work indoors or outdoors in all weather conditions.
This role requires 8 hours of standing, walking, climbing stairs, pushing, pulling, pinching, bending, twisting, stooping and lifting from the floor to above the head. All Laundry Cast Members work in a fast paced, high volume production environment.

- Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack, and tugger (or other type of equipment) as needed
- Load/Unload items onto a variety of trucks/rack systems and throughout the facility
- Perform basic math skills
- Perform basic verbal and written communications
- Use a computer or handheld device to conduct inventory, send reports and communicate to others
- Use good judgment to prioritize and sequence tasks to meet demand
- Handle soiled and/or clean linen in an organized manner
- Maintain the cleanliness of facility and equipment
- Walking/Standing: Constant
- Pushing/Pulling Up to 80 pounds: Constant
- Pinching/Fingering/Grasping/Object Handling/Eye & Hand Coordination: Constant
- Bending/Twisting/Squatting/Knelling: Frequent
- Lifting up to 40 lbs. (12 inches up to 72 inches): Frequent
- Climbing: Frequent
必須要件:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- A valid US Driver’s License
- Shown computer related experience within a Microsoft environment
- Great Teammate
- Quality conscious
- Willingness to work multiple locations
- Desire to meet/exceed performance goals in a high production environment
- English Required (written and verbal)
- Recent forklift experience (lifting product/pallets more than 20 feet high)

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
