Production Associate, Nightline
仕事内容:
Production Associates are responsible for supporting producers in all aspects of production including logging, coordinating feeds, researching video, stills and editorial information.
- Must be familiar with various media formats as well as library systems.
- Prior media management experience required.
- Camera and editing experience also required.
- PA will shoot elements for stories as well as rough cut content
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in newsroom environment or similar
- Knowledge of non-linear editing system, preferably
- Strong editorial skills necessary.
- Must be available to work flexible hours and perform duties under deadline.
- Non-Technical Skills: Strong organizational skills, able to meet deadlines, attention to detail, work well under pressure
- Strong interest in trends and news shows on streaming
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years in newsroom environment or similar
- Strong interest in the editorial process is highly desirable, as is the ability to generate original story ideas.
- Ability to edit packages on Avid
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree (TV/Film/Journalism or related field) or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in New York is $56,580 - 75,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
