How will you contribute to our magical experience?

We’re looking for a talented leader who can reinforce our relationship with distribution partners through a strong and efficient marketing strategy in Mexico. The role will be responsible for all marketing plans for partners that will be aligned with the strategy defined for Disney+ Brand, the general Disney Streaming Services strategy and content campaigns. The role holder will need to successfully work together with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in Disney Streaming Services to ensure campaigns work within the overall marketing strategy, aimed at driving subscriber acquisition and retention through partner efforts. This role also oversees trade marketing efforts aimed at leveraging Disney Advertising Team positioning among clients and agencies.

The Sr Manager Partner & Trade Marketing will:

  • Lead the strategic planning and marketing plans for local partners in Mexico.
  • Strengthen local relationships with regional partners by identifying local opportunities.
  • Effectively build and maintain strong partnerships in highly complex organizations, managing multiple stakeholders and senior profiles.
  • Assess marketing opportunities for new partner categories.
  • Contribute to define and prioritize campaigns to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Work closely with business development, brand marketing and creative teams to assure campaigns execution.
  • Partner with product, lifecycle and creative teams to ensure partner subscriber communications are aligned to brand proposition.
  • Have overall responsibility for the effectiveness of partner marketing campaigns, leading the team in planning and execution.
  • Assess budget contribution to improve partners efforts and maximize impact.
  • Use data, analytics and insights to measure partner marketing effectiveness and drive decision making.
  • Strategize ways to share and leverage strategy and tactics together with the business development team and creative team.
  • Provide service to Disney Ad Sales team to strengthen their relationship with clients and agencies through a strong and effective trade marketing strategy.
  • Partner with Special Events team to develop best in class trade marketing events.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • +10 years of experience in partner marketing and B2B strategy.
  • MBA or Master (ideal) – minimum: Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent level of English.
  • Digital product marketing experience is a must.
  • Experience on leading others in a matrixed environment.
  • Media & entertainment marketing experience – from strategy to execution is a plus.
  • Experience with data driven marketing to make decisions.
  • Open to work with teams based in Mexico and Latin America region.
  • Team management and talent development.
  • Experience on having launched and sustained major global brands, content or franchises.
  • Strong strategic vision and negotiation skills
  • Be willing to take risks to ensure strategic and creative thinking and the best outcomes possible
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive working in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Able to work with limited data, create solutions and deal with ambiguity
