As the Sr. Recruiter-Disney Cruise Line Bahamas, you will join a highly collaborative team of talent acquisition professionals supporting Disney Cruise Line! You will source, attract and acquire talent from throughout The Bahamas to work on Disney Castaway Cay (Abaco) and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (Eleuthera) and onboard our cruise ships.
In this position, you will report to the Sr. Mgr-Disney Cruise Line Recruitment based in Celebration, Florida, USA.
While the recruitment focus will be to identify talent from throughout The Bahamas, you will be based in Eleuthera and required to be on-site for a designated number of days each week as well as work remote.
How You Will Make A Difference
Collaborate with Island Operations to develop effective Bahamas-based search strategies that build diverse talent pipelines to meet island destination business needs; develop an understanding of each department, business strategy and talent profiles so you successfully deliver on hiring needs.
Facilitate passive and active talent pipelining for through engaging sourcing strategies, interactive marketing plans and networking opportunities while leading day to day recruitment needs for select front-line hourly island Cast and salaried leaders based on labor forecasts and diversity strategies supporting both island destinations.
Lead and accomplish full life cycle recruitment for island cast and/or leaders ensuring the candidate and client experiences are achieved with exceptional service delivery.
Support the onboarding process for new hires starting at our island destination in Eleuthera.
Build relationships; work alongside key internal partners within Talent Acquisition Marketing, Analytics, Labor, Human Resources and Public Affairs; partner with our Bahamas based Procurement Ally (hiring agent) so that Disney is always top of mind.
Serve as a recruitment brand ambassador who is continuously developing business relationships with key partners in Eleuthera such as the Department of Labor, various government ministries and multiple educational institutions to help amplify employment opportunities.
Conduct ongoing research of competitive landscape and market insights/trends to remain current and relevant in your area of focus; translate recruitment data, identify trends, and communicate insights through storytelling.
Expand the Disney recruitment brand through attendance at job and career fairs; host information sessions, when needed, to promote employment opportunities with Disney.
Partner with the Mgr-HR Bahamas to develop relationships with alumni networks, schools, and hospitality organizations in Eleuthera to increase brand awareness and promote Disney as an employer of choice; establish a connection with external talent, students, and faculty to promote career opportunities.
Lead and support projects that will recommend and activate new ways of working to improve recruitment processes, services, and/or the overall candidate experience.
Help to achieve results and give to the success of island and fleet expansion and overall organizational growth of a dynamic business.
What You Will Bring to the Team
Deep functional/technical expertise in talent acquisition with a passion for recruitment in The Bahamas
Ability to lead full life cycle recruiting and developing and driving comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans.
Ability to develop & articulate recruitment strategies, collaborate with clients about talent needs and engage and influence key leaders and partners.
Ability to assess experience and qualifications in candidates that will positively impact the guest experience.
Avid social media user with proficiency in using platforms for marketing, engaging, networking, and sourcing.
Experience working as a successful change agent.
Experience working in a demanding environment where multiple projects and the need to successfully oversee requisitions are the norm.

How You Will Stand Out
5+ years of full life cycle recruiting
In-depth knowledge of the hospitality and/or cruise industry
Experience with BrassRing or an equivalent Applicant Tracking System
Bachelor's degree or related work experience
Additional Information
This position will be based in Eleuthera, The Bahamas and required to be on-site for a designated number of days each week.
The incumbent must be legally authorized to work in The Bahamas.
This position will occasionally travel within The Bahamas based on business need.
