Job Summary:

About the Role:
This role is a content development position that requires ability to understand and analyse, generation of various storylines & morphing creative options to fulfil a business solve.

Context:
The Content Development team will be responsible for the health of shows – both on-air and in-development. The team is expected to be change agents and drive the new content agenda through proper brief (problem diagnosis), solve and effective implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
On-air shows:

  • To maintain longevity of shows – evaluate current story and plug in new ideas
  • To correctly identify and articulate the problem statement
  • To work on solves- Fixing creative challenges on the show like broad story, screenplay, character takes, social insights etc.
  • To collaborate and work with Content Studio team, PH, Writers and implementing the changes

In-Development/ Remakes:

  • To scout new ideas that could be developed into engaging shows
  • To thoroughly understand the concept, watch the original show (if applicable), identify critical show/ character markers that define the original show/ will be critical to the new concept under development
  • To collaborate with and work with Content Studio team, PH, Writers and ensure that the brief, as originally discussed and accepted, is adhered to
  • To be part of the show from concept to launch & then post launch to see consumer response

Performance Measures:

  • Show performance- TVR & TSV
  • Breakthrough characters- CIL report

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years’ experience in writing for shows/ films/ advertising
  • Familiarity with content – TV, Movies, OTT, Literature
  • Command over Hindi

Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to juggle multiple shows under tight timelines
  • Literary bent of mind
  • Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Discipline and rigour
