Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY: In this role, you'll engage with major customers and market influencers, forging long-term visions for advertisers and partners within a specific industry. With considerable experience across various sales and marketing functions in multiple industries, you grasp the market context well. As the primary advocate for Disney+ Hotstar within the industry, you'll lead and execute a Go-To-Market (GTM) plan, aiming to fulfil client objectives and achieve our revenue goals. You will also cultivate and expand some of Disney+ Hotstar's largest business accounts in India, employing a tailored account management strategy.

ABOUT THE TEAM: The large Customer Sales Team partners closely with world’s leading advertisers including MNCs and large domestic clients to provide advertising solutions that help them build and scale their businesses and brands. We work closely with clients who not only have substantial budgets but also a significant capacity for digital advertising investments. Achieving broad client outreach and maximizing client engagement are both crucial aspects of our strategy.

REPORTING TO: Executive Director – LCS Sales


  • Spearhead a GTM strategy, diving into research, developing case studies, and seizing public speaking opportunities that resonate with the industry.
  • Take the helm of corporate relationships and business targets for leading advertisers in the Media, Social, Food Tech, Gaming, industries.
  • Design and implement strategic sales plans aimed at not just meeting but exceeding the revenue targets for significant customer sales.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, establishing clear and actionable goals aligned with the overarching business strategy.
  • Set and manage ambitious sales goals for your team, crafting them to be transparent, clear, and measurable.
  • Work on developing scalable solutions for clients to maximize their benefit from Disney+ Hotstar products.
  • Map out, develop, and deepen your connections with key decision-makers and influencers across pivotal industry verticals, leveraging Disney+ Hotstar’s unique insights and content to fuel revenue growth.
  • Develop strategic plans and prepare to deliver growth presentations based on trend analysis and client performance insights.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key decision-makers at enterprise-level customers across diverse industries.
  • Conduct in-depth needs assessments, providing tailored solutions that tackle client challenges and secure long-term satisfaction.
  • In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our internal sales strategy team, agency team, brainstorming and bringing to life long-term deals for your accounts.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts, using strategic insights to adapt and refine sales strategies accordingly. 


  • Ability to focus and prioritize in our fast-paced business environment, effortlessly zeroing in on revenue-generating activities. Understanding Key account management principles or having a knack for consultative selling will give you a significant advantage.
  • Should be both a category & a brand builder with a strong ability to drive and achieve sales targets You should be both a champion for your categories and brands, demonstrating a strong ability to drive and surpass sales goals.
  • Cultivate exceptional strategic thinking and a focus on achieving results. Ability to navigate, influence and collaborate across the organization with excellent relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrate a proven ability in cross-functional leadership and general management, showcasing your versatile capabilities.
  • Analytical acumen and thought leadership, paired with an agile mindset and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to lead teams and drive revenue targets through effective leadership and team management skills. 


  • You're distinguished by your educational and professional journey. Holding an MBA and having 12 to 14 years of comprehensive experience demonstrate your capability. Importantly, more than five years in leadership roles within brand management, sales, or strategic consulting highlight your proficiency and readiness for significant responsibilities.
