Job Summary:

The role will be based within the Spain Creative Services Team connected with the Editorial Department to manage all the sound postproduction process with high quality standards of the main shows/campaigns of Kids hub Brands across Europe and Africa. The elements will be localised and distributed to various European languages and territories according to the Workflow. You will be responsible for creating the audio mix and audio editing for the project you are working on, managing, and delivering the audio assets from scratch to end, managing the audio suppliers. 

 

What will you do 

  • To create and distribute audio content as needed to various media and in various languages. 

  • To create campaigns from strategic shows across Europe.  

  • Understand sound objectives, technical, artistic, and narrative needs planning and managing design of material resources (internal and external vendors and equipment). 

  • Coordination of sound design from beginning to delivery through different stakeholders and languages. 

  • Lead the audio recording sessions with voiceovers (in house and external vendors). 

  • The ability to collaborate effectively with other creative team members and create sound elements like sound effects, ambient sounds, music, dialogues, interface sounds, etc. 

  • Prototype sound concepts to give a concrete idea of the goal in each campaign.  

  • Ensure the coherence and quality of the sound design throughout the development of promotions/spots. 

  • Sound editing and mixing edit and process all the elements required through the audio postproduction process (clean up unwanted noises, adjust levels, apply sound effects, synchronize with images…) 

  • To be responsible for the quality and the end-to-end process of the audio creation, from access to the master files to be delivered, to the monitoring of the publishing process. 

  • To be able to import and replicate, modify and apply audio structure to new languages or new shows. Guarantees implementation of creative briefs as per expected standards of delivery. 

  • Overseeing the quality and progress of audio editing. 

  • Supervises all elements needed completed before sending them to broadcast. 

  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: software or hardware issues, find creative solutions to get specific sounds, or address feedback from the creative team. 

 

 

What we expect of you 

  • At least 6 years of experience in audio generation (portfolio-reel required). 

  • Previous experience in television. 

  • Studio setup with computer, monitoring, and basic recording hardware.  

  • Strong command of English preferred.  

  • Professional knowledge of Pro tools, EU control, Dadman and Dante controller.    

  • Need to be familiar with the best practices and official sound standards. 

  • Strong creative skills, with an eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.  

  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure team-based work environment. 

  • Knowledge of local audio production market.  

  • Experience creating and editing audio content for Media distribution. 

  • To have strong knowledge of our channel's key shows 

 

Additional Information:  

  • This role is based in our Madrid office, we operate as a smart working company. You will be required to work from the office four days per week with one day working remotely 

  • This role is a part time, permanent role working 6 hours per day (9:00-15:00)
