Job Summary:

OpSheet is the efficiency platform for Walt Disney Experiences and is the system of record for operating hours, attraction wait times and Guests carried, and more.  The Business Intelligence Analyst is a critical member of the OpSheet team focused on the day-to-day application, administration, user support, and troubleshooting of OpSheet’s reporting ecosystem.  In this role, you will partner with clients and other teams to develop meaningful and impactful reporting solutions to meet the needs of all levels of Operations, and work with domestic and international partners to drive consistency in reporting functionality and development.  You will document and communicate processes and report functionality to end users as the Subject Matter Expert in the development of reports and training materials, and you will manage the OpSheet reporting space and keep up with technological and system changes as they occur.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cast Member who can be self-directed and capable of positive interactions with a variety of Cast Members in various departments and levels of authority including Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Technology. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, resourceful, intellectually curious, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You’re a steadfast problem solver, delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.  The ideal candidate makes data-driven decisions, obsesses about the user experience, forms strong yet loosely held opinions, and can build trust with all areas of the business.  

Up to two weeks a month will spent in an on-call 24/7 role. They will assist in trouble-shooting users at any site experiencing issues with the system, interfaces, or reporting that couldn’t be solved locally. Have knowledge of how each site/interface uses the OpSheet system to be able to analyze the impact of a system outage on a particular site. This may involve engaging the appropriate partners, and distributing communication as needed for any issue that may arise. 

               

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Business Objects reporting
  • Proficiency in acquiring, organizing, cleansing, manipulating, and mining large amounts of data
  • Strong partnering skills  
  • You are a demonstrated self-starter, and you provide strong strategic aptitude, clear thinking and communicating, and great decision making. 
  • You obsess about making our end-users happy and have strong opinions about good customer experience. 
  • You bring a strong attention to detail, with an ability to take a step back and understand the bigger picture. 
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • You are scrappy and resourceful, with no fear of getting your hands dirty and an impulse to be the first to tackle any challenge. 
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as part of a high-performance development team.  
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including weekends and holidays. Up to 2 weeks a month spent as the on-call point of contact for troubleshooting. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of Theme Park Operations or the OpSheet Platform  
  • Proficiency in Business Objects semantic layer (universe) design
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other visualization/reporting software
  • Proficiency in Python

The hiring range for this position in California is $94,200.00 - $126,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
