As a People Research Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering impactful people insights by designing and executing people research strategies, providing strategic survey guidance, leading qualitative research, conducting external people research, and guiding on best practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in the development of research initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of actionable insights to inform key business decisions. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in people research and a passion for driving organizational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align people research initiatives with organizational goals
  • Support the design and management of Company-wide employee lifecycle surveys
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of research initiatives using surveys, focus groups, employee interviews, and other relevant methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide strategic advice on research design and methodology
  • Lead the development and refinement of survey questions, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and industry best practices
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of human resources
  • Conduct external HR research to provide benchmarking and competitive intelligence to inform HR strategies and decisions
  • Summarize research findings to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Lead technical analysis of qualitative data
  • Partner with reporting and analytics teams to deliver data findings leveraging visual dashboards and advanced statistics
  • Oversee the processing and evaluation of survey comments, ensuring key comments are shared with the correct partners
  • Proactively connect dots across different data points, research inputs, business initiatives.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, ensuring the team delivers high-quality, timely, and impactful research outcomes

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in people research, survey design, and qualitative research methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness and ability to handle highly confidential data and information
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


The hiring range for this position in California is $123,000.00-$150,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
