About the Role & Team
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, the Senior Manager of Dry Docks is responsible for the planning and execution of the dry dock scope of work for fleet’s interiors, during dry and wet docking of the companies’ vessels.

This is a permanent role and will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home. You will also be required for occasional international travel.
What You Will Do
Lead and develop the Dry Dock Interiors team, ensuring effective collaboration, delivery, and performance.
Oversee the planning, execution, and specification development for all interior enhancement and sustainment work during dry and wet dockings across the fleet.
Provide regular updates to the UK Managing Director on Dry Dock project progress, highlighting key milestones, budget status, scheduling, and delivery challenges.
Work closely with the operational Marine and Technical Operations organization, to meet the out of service needs and expectations of the Marine, Technical, Hotel & Entertainment departments.
Cooperate with Walt Disney Imagineering, verifying enhancement scopes are fully supported and resourced, and design budgets are prepared, and costs suitably controlled.
Attend vessels regularly throughout the year to carry out onboard surveys as required and in preparation and planning for the roll out of the major projects and dry dock works.
Responsible for aligning dry dock accounting processes with those of Disney Cruise Line Finance Department, to verify commonality between accounting processes.
Responsible for verifying maintenance systems are updated with relevant dry dock information, including budgetary information for financial reports.
Lead the standardization of dry dock interiors processes, procedures, and specifications across teams.
Oversee vendor bidding activities, ensuring compliance with procurement processes and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Extensive experience in the Maritime industry
Significant previous experience managing elements of dry docking cruise vessels.
Senior leadership experience leading a team and influencing functional specialists and cross-functional teams. Including defining priorities, clear roles and responsibilities and guiding technical team members at different stages of their individual projects.
Demonstrated strong verbal, written, presentation and public speaking skills.
