At Napa Rose, guest service is at the heart of everything we do. As a Host/Cashier you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a world-class dining experience. You will greet guests with warmth and professionalism and manage reservations and seating flow. This role requires poise, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Guests with directions, event schedules, and other information and assistance as needed to provide excellent Guest service
- Assign open tables to Guests and remain aware of dining room status at all times
- Escort Guests to their tables, maintain menu cleanliness, and monitor restaurant lobby
- Retrieve highchairs, slings, and boosters for little Guests
- Pull chairs out for Guests
- Answer phone in timely manner and assist Guests with reservation bookings, directions, and all other questions
Basic Qualifications:
- You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role
- Previous work experience in a fast-paced, high end restaurant environment
- Experience with multi-tasking
- Must possess technical proficiency in booking, changing, and updating reservations
- Knowledge of Forbes standards is a plus
- Excellent Guest service skills
- Poised and professional - avoiding use of casual language
- Very strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills - including the ability to speak articulately and clearly and provide good eye contact
Additional Information:
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
This location serves Breakfast and Dinner service. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM while some may end as late as midnight (or later depending on when the last Guest leaves.

The pay rate for this role in California is $21.13 per hour.
