You will be leading a high performing Professional Recruitment Team to ensure timely delivery of recruitment solutions for our executive, managerial and professional positions in multiple lines of business in a fast-paced environment. The team connects talent with life changing opportunities in Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
As a recruitment leader, you will ensure your team provides a uniquely Disney candidate experience while managing service delivery to the business. You will develop and maintain collaborative working relationships that allow you to drive operational excellence and translate analytics into trends and insights that inform and influence hiring leaders.
You are responsible for leading and participating in a range of talent acquisition projects from regional talent sourcing to employer brand building. You will also develop recruitment strategies that align to business needs and are measured to ensure effectiveness. You will provide inputs toward the budget process, manage expenses versus plan and ensure optimal utilization of resources, recruitment tools, processes and practices.
Responsibilities
Consult the Business – Meet with business leaders to learn business insights and hiring needs; Review data analytics and provide storytelling and insights to your team and business leaders to inform and influence recruitment strategy; Be a talent advisor to the business.
Develop Recruitment Strategies – Identify hiring needs and develop effective strategies that build diverse talent pipelines to meet business needs; ensure your team tracks and shares talent efficiently and leverages consistent processes and tools.
Communicate and Collaborate – Develop and deliver clear and timely communication with clients at different levels, HR Business Partners, and talent acquisition partners (i.e. Recruitment Marketing, Compensation, Talent Sourcing, Global Mobility, HR Operations) in a matrix organization.
Talent Sourcing – Proactively build strategic talent pipeline for critical roles and senior level positions. Conduct executive search and passive candidate engagement.
Manage Projects – Identify, lead and implement operational efficiency projects for the professional recruitment team including managing change management and communication plans.
People Leader – Develop, inspire, and hold the team accountable for the delivery of recruitment solutions; Coach and mentor your team through regular quality conversations and role plays to ensure desired behaviors; Lead by example.
Basic Qualifications
Experience in executive search, full life-cycle recruitment, human resources management, and passion for candidate experience.
Exposure in people management, with the ability to prioritize and balance workloads between team members; proven time management and performance management skills.
Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships within the team, with stakeholders, and influence business partners. Strong advocate for a diverse and inclusive workplace and working culture.
Track record to manage recruitment marketing, employer branding, and effective talent acquisition communications.
Be able to translate data into meaningful insights to support data driven decisions and process optimization.
Demonstrated the ability to manage confidential information and difficult conversations.
Be curious about the latest trends and development in the talent market and entertainment industry.
Other Qualifications
Exposure in facilitating training on recruitment content.
Experience in application tracking and talent relationship management systems.
Social media activist able to promote The Walt Disney Company and Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Wechat, etc.).
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese in a highly organized, persuasive, and credible manner.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
