About the Role & Team
Join our team now as Senior Finance Analyst! In this role you’ll focus on the financial planning, reporting and analysis of Content Sales Licensed and our streaming service Disney+.
You’ll work in close partnership with the respective finance leads in delivering on our financial commitments, supporting them with ad-hoc as well as strategic considerations. From financial modelling to financial analysis and planning – in this role you’ll cover the whole financial cycle!
You’ll play an active role contributing to the Nordic & Baltic finance team through providing financial expertise and support to various commercial teams. The role will have dual reporting lines, to the Content Sales finance lead and the Disney+ finance lead.
This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week. This role can be based in either our Stockholm or Copenhagen office.
What You Will Do
Support in the financial planning cycle for Content Sales and Disney+ P&L lines, including Annual Operating Plan, forecasts, actuals reporting and reconciliations of forecasts/actuals. This could include:
Understand, reconcile and explain the numbers submitted by both the local and the regional team
Support and coordinate internal reviews in parallel with Regional timetable
Ensure preparation of decks in connection with the planning process (both planning and reporting of actuals)
Present results to key internal partners in a clear and comprehensive way
Creation and maintenance of tools and templates, where needed
Ensuring that the forecasts and actuals are accurate and updated in the reporting systems
Proactively develop current processes, reporting and presentations
Deliver accurate, timely and high-standard analysis, information and presentations
Coordinate information between various colleagues such as Legal, Sales and Deal Management
Develop an understanding of the global and local streaming markets, the key players and trends. In particular, identify and highlight local impacts to business performance and forecasting.
Support with data analysis on new deals, such as partnerships and promotional activities
Required Qualifications & Skills
Proven track record working at a Senior Finance Analyst level, with excellent attention to detail and financial modelling skills
Proficiency in Excel and experience of using SAP, or similar accounting and reporting systems
BSc or MSc (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics or Marketing
Confident in financial modelling, analysis and financial management and in the application of Financial & Accounting Principles
Experience of acting as a Finance Business Partner, collaborating with all seniority levels of an organization through effective and audience-targeted communication and presenting
Experience and understanding of working in a commercial, diverse, multi-currency and multinational business environment
You are a problem-solver, who uses their business & industry savvy to get results
Stay current on business issues, industry trends, and technology advances
Engage colleagues across the organization to optimize performance with the ability to harmonise with people who have different backgrounds and working styles
Business proficiency in English, knowledge of a Nordic language is beneficial
